Seems like there’s some confusion whether Steele is starting vs Minn as RT or starting the week of practice off as the starting RT. Will probably know for sure in a few hours.

this is simply to get Collins body and mind back into it slower..im betting hes back at RT the following week..they may simply trying not to upset the flow right after a bye..give the player whos ready rights now the snaps but LC will then have 2 full weeks of practice to get back at it..

steele did NOT take LCs job that not what anyone said only implied by beat writer who not much more in tune with anything then we are..

now if somehow steele remains there and Collins is used at LG well ill ask this,

why didnt McGovern get that shot first , hes the swing guard?

That would be my question too. As it stands now, next year's starting OL would likely be Smith, McGovern, Biadasz, Zach, Collins

If you're going to make a change at LG why not use who you have penciled to start next year anyway. Unless he really just is not ready.

Exactly, he was away from Football for five weeks serving his suspension not able to practice, he wasn't going to start this week after just one practice, more than likely he'll be back at right tackle next week, but I wouldn't be apposed to Collins starting at left guard where I think he should have been playing all along..
