I'm just saying we drafted a special teams guy apparently in the 2nd round, and everyone is ok with that?
If he needs development, special teams is not the way. Put him out on the field and develop him. I'll give him a chance, I want to see him play, but if he really can't beat out anthony brown then why did we draft him 44th overall?
Do you think Trysten Hill should start when he gets back?

Haha you're a sink or swim dude...guess KJ better get his mind right before tonight.

Unless him playing risk further or extended injury.

I keep hearing that. Would it? If he doesn't scramble and plays it smart from the pocket, how much further damage is he looking at? How did he even tweak it to begin with?

I understand the counter argument, but we can't be afraid of getting hurt or, in this case, "more hurt". Look at Baker Mayfield, toughing it out vs. Pittsburgh.

I don’t believe it’s the same injury. Remember Gallup has been out about 5 weeks with Calf strain. You basically can’t run.

Well, I guess 1 missed game is better than 4.

If it were really serious, we would have seen them trade for someone like Foles or Dalton, no? Because they *have* to know what they've got in Cooper Rush, right??

I don’t think it’s as serious a strain as Gallup had . But I don’t think he’s expected to miss too much time. Week to week of course. But why risk straining it more where it could really impact the season . Makes no sense .

The real problem here is we didn’t address backup QB better.

We have a good enough team that we should be able to stay in games with a serviceable backup.

Earn it?!? He earned it by being picked in 2nd round, or wait, our scouts take a major L on this pick! Embarassing

Yeah sure he earned it by being hurt and not playing while AB was busting his tail. You'd be a trash coach.

Looks like we should have kept Mike White around.
I went on and on about White after we drafted him, only to see him get released....only to see us keep Cooper Trash....how did an idiot like me know that it was a HUGE mistake at the time???

...But we still have 48 hours before the trading deadline to address it IF Rush can't get it done.

No??

Mike White just beat the Bengals by throwing for over 400 yards in his first start. Yeh that Mike White. So why not Cooper Rush?
Because Rush is trash....like someone said a couple days ago...Thank God the game is indoors, because his throws look like paper airplanes.:muttley::muttley::muttley:

So at what point do they announce the inactives? Or will dak suit up as the back up regardless?
