Are the Rams now the favorite in the NFC?

I think the Bucs and Rams are definitely the SB favorites.

Playoff seeding is going to be important this year IMO since the NFC seems to be stacked.

The fourth seed will likely get the Rams or Cardinals in the wild card weekend. Then depending on who wins could face the Bucs the following week.

Cards, Rams or Bucs will be representing the NFC in this year's SB.....
Losing to a banged up GB team at home was a bad loss for the Cardinals. Not sold on them yet. I also wouldn't discount the Packers, either.

I think ARZ/Dal are both on the last tier out of the group of 5, they need to prove they belong. You can say that about Stafford, but Rams made it to the SB with Goff.
az #1 seed right now nothing to prove..

It's going to be the Rams and either the Bucs or the Packers in the NFC Championship Game.

I say this because ...

1. Never underestimate the play of the quarterback during playoffs. Brady and Rodgers have been there - multiple times. The moment isn't too big for them.
Stafford has a great team, and he is a very good quarterback. But he's never been in this position - the frontrunner with a frontrunner team. And during the playoffs the game gets faster and the margin for error smaller. Brady is the master. He's been in more than 10 Championship Games. He's seen it all. And he hardly ever panics. That's a HUGE advantage.

2. Along the same lines, during the playoffs, the refs are a little bit more liberal. They let defenders rough up the quarterbacks a little more unless a hit is egregious. Kyler Murray's size is a disadvantage to him in the playoffs. The game plan will be to keep him in the pocket and clog the middle. And hit him ever time he releases the football.
I want to say the Cowboys, but they are a talented AND sloppy team. Offensive holding in the red zone continues to plague this team. And I fear that will be the same during the playoff.

3. Rams and Bucs have the better/more experience defenses, and defense wins championships. The Cowboys are still a bit inconsistent. Opportunistic but inconsistent. The Packers defense is improving. To get the most out of their defensive unit, the Packers need to run the ball more, play more ball-controlled football. But with Rodgers, I doubt they have the discipline to do so.

I think whoever emerges from the NFC is going to be Super Bowl champion. The road to the Super Bowl is a land mine, and whoever successfully navigates it will be all the better in the Big Game - just like in the 90s when whoever survived the gauntlet from the NFC (whether the Skins, the Eagles, the Cowboys, the Giants, the Bears or the 49ers) had it Easyville in the Super Bowl, so to, I think this is going to be the same thing this year.

With yesterday's signing of ODB and acquiring Von Miller the prior week, are the Rams the favorites to the NFC crowded class?

-They basically traded D. Jackson for ODB. Is there offense more explosive then the rest of the field? Probably not, but now are in the conversation. Still believe the Bucs have the best offense out of the 5, but it's real close. Each of the 5 teams are loaded on the offensive side of the football.

-Their Defense is star driven with Donald, Von Miller and Ramsey. Are they the best defense in the conference when all teams are healthy? Again, think the Bucs have the edge, especially if their secondary is healthy, but Rams are right up there. Now, the key word is healthy.

Taking off the Cowboy homer glasses, in my opinion, the Bucs maintain the favorites, but the Rams might be the next team right behind. Doesn't mean either team is unbeatable on a given day, but on paper they are the cream of the crop in the conference.
they are all in this year...if they don't win this year, they are going to be screwed for years to come... no draft picks. older team. its 2021 or bust for them.

Until Green *ay is eliminated, I'm terrified most of the Pukers and Karen Fraudgers winning another SB

ITS all about playmakers .who will make that crucial 3rd down catch and who will make that crucial third down stop/sack. the more of those you have the better your chances are in the playoffs. a lot of those games are close and you need to have those guys who can make that play to keep a drive going for points or who can stop that 3rd and 2 so your Defense can get off the field. BOTTOM LINE, which team has the most of those things?

They better get it done fast. Drained their draft picks and within 3 years will probably be a complete mess! How long can they keep it going without replenishing through the draft? It will definitely be a problem. Specially if they don’t win anything!

Never been about wide receivers, if it were then the Vikes with Moss/Carter would have ruled.
,
The Buc;s are the team to beat they have a guy who knows the playoffs, that cannot be said about Stafford,

The Buc's are the team to beat.

Then the Cards they are for real but they also have a QB with no playoff success, hell.....so do we.

I do expect OBJ problems, the guy has a very bad case of....MEitst.

So...

Buc;s
Cards
Cowboys
Rams
Packers
