Well, maybe it's an age thing, but I stopped being a players fan when I grew older than they were / are. I'm 42 now and just a fan of the Cowboys. I don't buy jerseys anymore but team stuff. I want the team to be successful, whatever is necessary for that.

Makes some things a lot of easier and saves me from getting too involved in all those love / hate threads. I will be fine with Dak, even if we lose against the Raiders. We're stuck with him anyway, so the team has find a way to win against top teams with him.

Might try it some day. :)

I’m a cowboy fan, not a player fan.

Dak is elite!
No he's not!

I'm on the Dak bandwagon!
I'm off the Dak bandwagon!

If you're a Cowboys fan you're on the bandwagon, elite or not. They paid him. He isn't going anywhere anytime soon, like it or not.

What excuse? Cowboys got out played and lost. People want off the so called bandwagon? fine, leave. No one is forcing anyone to pull for this team. At the 1st sign of trouble you have people running around freaking out. There is 0 excuse for going in and not playing higher level of football, currently 7-3 and in a much better position than most teams.
I can accept the Cowboys being outplayed. That happens from time to time in the NFL even with championship caliber teams. I cant accept being monkey stomped. The Cowboys were completely dominated by Denver and a suspect Chiefs defense. Dak gersi completely shut down of get has to go to a quick hitting timing route offense. He needs too much time to function.

You guys know whose followed my post that I'm one of the biggest Dak Prescott fans on this forum. That being said though. I was always fair in giving Dak his due when he plays well and saying when he doesn't play well. I've posted on anti-Dak forums in favor of Dak. But he's had two horrible games this year-horrible. And don't give me or use the injury card. Colt McCoy is winning as a backup with injured WR's out. Friggin Colt McCoy:facepalm: Dak is a great guy on and off the field. But I want Dak to be great in games when needed. Do you guys know that Dak only has like 6 wins if the running game doesn't go over a 100 yards per game. Dak you making 75 million dollars now. 75 with with 000000 zero's in back of it. Time for you to start playing like a top paid quarterback in big games. I 'm not talking beating up on sorry azzzz teams. I need you to beat up on the Packers, Chiefs, Rams, Arizona, 49ers etc. You talk a great game after a loss but all it is is TALK! I need to see greatness out there. Not Tony Romo 2.0 or lower.

And why I'm at it can I say I hope over rated Kellen Moore gets a higher coaching job outside of the Cowboys. Fans be talking how bad Dak play. Well how bad is Moore's play calling in BIG games? Nearly every coach that's considered a good coach with a good team. Good not great-hands this guy a butt kicking also. I for one hope he gets another gig. Let McCarthy finally do something besides crashing watermelons and giving out cases of Monkey Butt. And it's not just the loss especially on offense to the Chiefs. It's the mode of operation. Not showing up for big games. Key guys get hurt and we can't operate. I'm still as much with the team as ever. But at some point we have to cross the yellow brick road of mediocrity and go on the road of domination. Injuries are not an excuse. Every team has just as many or more. In closing I say to Dak. Show me who you are as a NFL quarterback starting Thursday. No more " as long as I'm here this team won't quit" Well if you winning quitting isn't even in the equation. And I know we only have 3 loses as of today. But if we can't beat the better teams come January. Will it matter?
PEACE.....
Quit easily huh. This place sucks because of knee jerk posts like this. Sucks.

Dak has to do a better job, WR can't drop passes and OL need to do their damn job. I make no excuses for any of them. I'm not buying into well Dak has to do the job when everyone else around him plays like crap. They are all professionals and they all have jobs to do I expect them to do their jobs. I continue to hear about making excuses for Dak, I am not, I am not making them for anyone. I expect WR to hold on to passes, I expect OL to provide some protection and open holes for running game and yes I expect Dak to make better throws and to do better in his check offs. What I see is excuses for everyone but Dak and I say no excuses for any of them. They played poorly and got beat.

This is what Dak syndrome brings, lets jump on Dak and excuse everyone else who played like crap. Call them out but call them all out, not this childish BS of lets blame 1 person in what is really the ultimate team sports. Did Dak play poor? Yes and a lot of others played just as poor. No one should be getting excuses. Having said that, this team and this unit has to put this behind them with a short week ahead of them. They can't go back and change the outcome of the last game but they can do a lot to make sure they do not do that in this upcoming game. They have a chance to push their record to 8-3 and right now for me that is the only important thing.

Stop looking around for excuses.

Others failures won’t get Dallas to a championship. If we want a championship we need our guys to step up. Josh Allen is irrelevant. He’s Buffalo’s problem and not a crutch for Dak.

Just like Pat Mahomes Super Bowl performance isn’t a crutch for Dak.

At some point we’re either going to be a team of excuses or Mr. 40 million is going to have to perform.

Or we can lose and you guys can make excuses for our QB not being a type that overcomes and is just a long for the ride all off-season.. A 40 million dollar bus driver. Does that sound good to you?

I need Tampa Bay Dak. Hadn’t played for a year, no run game, no Zack Martin, no excuses and played the game of his life.

Sunday was just classic Dak. Go as the team goes.

Raise your expectations. He asked for a lot of money so now it’s time for return on investment. We’ve already proven we can beat mediocre teams without him.
You were praising Allen and Buffalo when he signed his contract because "he proved to be a big time ELITE QB" now lets not worry about that guys. You were literally singing Dak's praises last week. Now he sucks again? lol

The 1st pass to Gallup.....Gallup was not running hard thru the route..the pass was spot on...Gallup ran a lazy route...then there were the drops, no protection, etc...

Dont forget the coaches need to be held accountable for not putting together a better game plan.

Exactly. He should go watch Aikman's final teams with Dallas and tell us all how he won by himself while surrounded by crap.

Nice, let's put down a HOF'er to prop up Dak....that's how the Prescott fans roll.
