So he basically Jared Goff then? Goff was in the MVP convo far longer in 2018. Except Goff's ceiling is higher as he took the Rams to the SB without Gurley and Kupp. You think Dak take the Cowboys to the SB without Zeke/Pollard and Cooper? Yes Goff had McVay, but McVay isn't going to be able to fix Dak's accuracy problem either. Goff still had to make those throws. When has Dak ever had a MNF, TNF, NFCCG like Goff has? Dak has never came close.

I'm not too familiar with Royaice (so I can't comment), he hasn't been posting as much. But my money would be on Rockport. I believe RonnieT can eventually see the light. Rockport has rocks for brain. RonnieT hasn't shown up during Thanksgiving while Rockport has doubled down.

I could see that, but I think it's interesting that his deal and Mike's deal look to end the same year. Mike got a 5 year deal as Dak was entering the tag year, and Dak's on a 4 year. Maybe this was a way to pressure both to where the next coach could pick a new QB between Dak or a rookie.

The Rams got rid of Goff because he had 4 bad games, yet we are celebrating Dak for having less bad games than good games. This is why we are the Cowboys, stuck in mediocrity for the forseenable future, and some of our fans eat it up like having pudding on Thanksgiving. Oh did I mention Dak is being pay 26 millions more than Goff. I mean if Dak has 5 atrocious games and 12 decent games, he was worth it. Na...even a decent game is not enough. We lost to LV, a Raiders team without their coach, lost their speedy WR, and another first round CB. How are you defending Dak when the Cowboys roster is better than the Raiders roster? Like how? Dak seem to lose to team he suppose to beat more than any other QB.

Jerry thinks he is worth that deal. That's what matters when it comes to that contract. I don't get a say in it and neither do any of you, unless you're in the inner circles of the Cowboys organisation. Simple as that. If Jerry didn't think Dak was worth his contract, he wouldn't grant that contract.

Even when Dak is no longer one of the highest paid QBs in the NFL he'll still be overpaid because he's just not good enough.

He'll never be a "bargain" for us like some want to believe.

Personally that contract is going to make it difficult to retain the guys we need for Dak to even be a half way decent QB. I think after all this time we can dispense with the notion that Dak Prescott will ever be the guy who does more with less. He isn't. He's the guy who needs more to just function right. Nothing wrong with that except when you dedicate a large portion of the pie to him and starve the rest of the team.
