He should never talk about his fans unless it's to thank us for watching him. Why is he even concerned about us fans? Maybe his beds are not selling, or he heard some bad things about his commercials. I don't know.

If that is what he thinks is happening to us fans, then that is on him. I'm not Dr. Phil, but lately Dak has not been right in the mind...he seem to be losing it upstairs. Maybe he is trying to hard, forcing things? Maybe his horrific injury is screwing him up? But lately he has been talking to much..."got to reestablish my identity", "I'm a big mutha.....er", "I'm a busy guy", (must be doing a lot of commercials), stink facing his receiver on the field because he did not catch a bad pass. He wants to be a leader, but that is not what a leader does.

I mean, he has the world on his shoulders and is working as the QB for the Cowboys so the pressure is on...and as that old saying goes, "talk is cheap". Run me off that broken wagon, then cry about it?

Cowboys on three...1 2 3.

Why? Why should he not address the fans, the fans address them all the time, that's one of the problems, fans think they should be able to say or do what they want and nobody should address them. But here he said nothing bad about the fans , yet he's getting blasted and criticism for nothing.Dak also knows how to be a leader, it's his job to stand at the podium and answer questions, it's also his right to answer how he please, he hasn't said anything that's been disrespectful

Odd. Never seen people jump on a bandwagon of a team who hasn’t done anything of significance in 2.5 decades and has lost 2 out of the last 3 games. Teams have to accomplish something to have a bandwagon. Our bandwagon got full many years ago. I think it is most likely the additionally viewership is of haters wanting to see us fail yet again because Cowboys fans were already thinking SB run.

I don't think so. I think there are quite a few casual fans who disappear when the team is bad. When it starts getting Super Bowl talk and playing well, those fans come back.

I’m referring to the talking heads who were buying into the Cowboys hype we were a serious SB contender and Dak was MVP candidate. Now they have all hopped off his and our wagon.

I’m not sure why he’d even address it?
I savvy.

He had an opinion about us fans therefore we can have our opinion of him. If he is worried about what us fans think, then he has more problems than I thought?

Get off social media, stop selling beds, stop the commercials...(i know, he needs to feed his family) and then he won't hear how much we love him... and get back to football. Cause right now, he sucks.

What us his opinion? Again what did he say disrespectful to the fans, you have yet to explain that. So if he said fans we need you. You would have a problem with him mentioning the fans? No you wouldn't, so why are you criticizing him for mentioning the fans here not in a disrespectful manner?

It's the nature of sports. All sports and teams have this to one degree or another.

It usually happens with a championship. People flock to winners. Then when you lose....they flock to the next winners.

Cowboys haven't won in over 25 years ....so who is dak talking about? Fans waiting for 25 years are bandwagon?...because he's having a hissy fit about losing games? Blaming fans?
How about you go get some fans on the wagon first before whining about losing them?

this guy is more of an idiot than I thought he was

I guess this is what “leaders” do these days

haha. I think his comments weren’t aimed at you or me. He is a leader of his locker room, and I think he knows that his team has to rally itself back. If they “ate the cheese” (and I think they did), then a comment like this is just what the doctor ordered to bring them back to earth.

Have a good night...I must leave to play some guitar and hit some weed...talking about Dak is going to be easy talking to my band!

Dak's fine I hope.

Dak and Company should also give the fans a reason to be something other than Fairweather fans

In Dak's defense, I remember a big thread just last week where someone wrote "I'm off the Dak Bandwagon if he loses!" as the title.

you can’t lead if you’re a part of the problem

Dak has to fix his issues before calling others out
