Dak Prescott Calls out ‘Bandwagon’ Cowboys Fans

After the Dallas Cowboys’ disappointing loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, Dak Prescott threw a bit of shade at “bandwagon” fans. Prescott addressed the idea twice during his post game media session, admitting that “a bunch of people are jumping off the bandwagon.”

Athletes sound stupid when they say stuff like this.

Fans are emotional. Hence why they are called “fans”.

The whole discussion has become tiresome. Not because of the player as a person but because of the avalanche of drivel that the "he's the goat" posters have been hyping since 2016. Having to constantly wade thru the daily made-up arguments for why he is elite is what irritates people who can see the truth.

Good news is most fans have come around to the conclusion that when he plays well he is an above average QB and when he plays bad he's a crappy QB. More importantly most have realized that his "performance" is very much tied to who is on the field with him and how they play.

IF he ever shows he can carry a team that isn't at full strength, then we'll reevaluate his performance.

haha. I think his comments weren’t aimed at you or me. He is a leader of his locker room, and I think he knows that his team has to rally itself back. If they “ate the cheese” (and I think they did), then a comment like this is just what the doctor ordered to bring them back to earth.

The point is you people don’t like him. And you have no idea how this game is played. This game is won and lost in the fourth quarter. If we had Belichick I don’t think we would’ve lost a game this season. Do you know what continuity means. To have that with your wide receiver. If only people really understood. . 85% of cowboy fans don’t have a freaking clue about this game. The game is one and lost before it even starts.

I have nothing against Dak as a person. I don't even know him. I don't like how he was calling out the fans the other day. The next step after that is him starting to throw teammates under the bus. His brother already talks crap about everyone on Twitter and Dak seems perfectly okay with it, so he probably already throws his teammates under the bus in private. His brother just echo's that on Twitter.

But anyways, Dak is not elite. He is average. It's year 6 and he is what he is. At this point you just have to hope to built an elite team around him and hope that he doesn't screw it up.

I think fans are so bothered by the Raiders lost because there was zero excuse for losing. We wrote up the Denver lost as a fluke. Gave them a pass on KC game. But Raiders game was a wake up call that we are not real contenders and Dak isnt as good as we thought he was

I have accepted that Dak is just what he is and he's never going to be more than a QB that needs elite teammates all around him to look good. It's year 6. It's been long enough to judge him. If you can't accept that then that's your problem, not mine.
