His play would look a lot worse had we picked up his option. Dude has fallen off the cliff

What’s maddening to me is how he gets manhandled and simply moved out of the way by blockers. Couple that with the loafing around and it’s just unacceptable.

The team needs to continue to address the position next year. Cox should be fine but coming off injury. I don’t know the contract status of Bernard or Gifford, and I think they let Neal walk.

LVE (and to some extent Diggs) are developing Jaylon-itis which is a tendency to somehow get “stuck” to the person blocking you so you get washed out of the play and get to tackle after someone else has already made it

Dude has been stealing money for a very long time now. Gives no effort at all.

You can't find a bigger pansy than LVE.

This is why it’s so hard to not play Parsons at LB. the middle is open when he’s not there. Kearse is our best LB outside of him
It's amazing so many posters and "supposed experts" don't understand this and go on an on about him playing DE.

LVE seems like he's afraid to tackle .. like he's worried about re-injuring his neck again, but there are also times where he seems lost or slow to
react and fill.
Like scheme and read keys have to be kept simple for him to perform from any degree.

- He's easily blocked, bad angles, fooled by misdirection, ..and when was the last time he made great game changing plays ?
A sack,.. tackle for losses, ..a punched out fumble, ...an INT ?

- From off his great rookie year. i used to think he could hopefully be a Sean Lee clone
But now I'm really questioning his instincts

- He's managed to somehow stay healthy (albeit in a contract year) but he's just not a difference maker. he's been pure JAG.
and we have no one else to turn to bench and replace him.
Keanu Neal is really the only other reserve, and we don't want him starting.

Once LVE departs as a FA, ..he will not be missed.
i only regret that he will not bring us a viable compensatory draft pick; he's gonna be a cheap FA pick up -- for some other NFL team.

I'm going with LVE-itis.......being around the ball AFTER the whistle.

Parsons was schooling him on the sidelines. He was like don’t bother me type of expression.

I watched him at the combine before the draft and I thought he was a big lumbering clod. I was surprised when Dallas drafted him and I bought into the hype. His rookie season he surprised me with his playmaking ability. But now he looks like the big lumbering clod I saw at the combine. He did not look athletic to me then and he doesn't look athletic to me now.

I will say though, he is not as bad as people make him out to be. He is average, that's all. I don't know if Dallas will sign him next year. He may wind up coming back for 1 year on a cheap contract. But I think it depends on what happens with Gregory. If they can sign him then they may want to use Parsons more at DE. Then they need a LB and they can't really afford to spend a lot of money on one. Hopefully they find a way to sign Gregory and keep Lawrence. Parsons stays at LB and he plays along side Jabril Cox.

Only thing keeping him on the field is his draft position

I’m sure Quinn wanted his butt gone long ago, but ol Jerr just can’t stand being wrong

I think Taco Charlton proved thats not the case. Cox's injury is what is keeping LVE on the field

Let's not give crap to this guy. He came in and did a great job rookie season. Yes he's not that good anymore but what do you want him to do? Retire football and apologize to the fans? He's trying his best out there. If you don't like him playing in there, blame the coaches for that, not LVE.

INSTEAD - Celebrate him for what he accomplished before he departs.
His rookie season was ELECTRIC
