Parsons is more valuable to Cowboys than Dak

Love Parsons. Guy is a future star.

Going to buy my son a Parsons jersey... This is a REAL Cowboy. Dak has his fans but in ten years from now? Parsons will be higher on the Cowboy mount rushmore than Dak.
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao::lmao2::lmao2::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:Thanks for showing your ignorance.

They continued the season as they started by losing and losing some more?
2 - 3 (40% winning percentage with Dak) compared to 4 - 7 (36% winning percentage with all of the backup QBs)?

Dak is better and would win you more games.

Want to try again?

You’ll never get it. Yes you will…when we’re sittin at home again for the SB.

We'll be in good company, a lot of good teams and good players will be sitting at home for the SB.
I said at the beginning of the year we would be a lot better team than before, but that we would not make the SB this year. It's a young team that still needs a little more help on both sides of the ball. We need help on the OL to help our ground game, and help on the DL to stop the run.

I am pointing out that in ten years, Parsons will be known as a better Cowboy than Dak. Parsons is generational and a beast and what defines a true Cowboy.
Again. What's your point? Is that your way of knocking Dak? Is that it?

Yes. Parsons is awesome. He will be in ring of Fame.

But what is your point? You could have compared parsons to 10 other players on the team.

Dak lives in your head

4% greater win percentage? Seriously?

That's just barely over 1/2 of a game spanning the entire season. It would take 2 seasons to net an extra win under those conditions.

I like Dak, but if your best comparison is going to be 6/10ths of a single game/season then your standards are pretty low.

Neither 40% or 36% win percentage is making the playoffs. What happens between the two really doesn't matter because arguing between a 6 win team versus a 7 win team is pointless. They both suck. The only difference between how Dak has played over the last month versus what happened over the last month of last year with Dalton at QB is that Dak can actually play better than he has, and Dalton was likely tapping into the reserves of whatever he had left.

It's okay to admit he's having a rough stretch. Seriously if 4% difference is all it takes to satisfy you, what's your cutoff? 1% better winning percentage?

Just hush

being the QB is like +500 “value points”

Parsons is generational. Dak is not. Parsons is my favorite Cowboy, not Dak!!
Oh, well, since you decided you want to buy his jersey and he’s your *favorite*, that’s enough for me!

Plus, he’s “generational!”

I can't remember the last time I bought a jersey for myself, but if I was to buy one it would be #11.

And without Dak how are we going to go 2-14 on 3rd downs and what are we going to do with our Punter and FG kickers???
Dak stays and Parsons hits the road!!!!:muttley:

Redzone i'll help you out.....in respect of this thread your standpoint should be that fans of Micah should be thankful of Dak. If we hadnt gone all in on Dak the reality is that we probably wouldnt have drafted Micah, we'd have taken Dak's replacement (probably Jones).

That was based on last year.

What's the record this year so far under Dak?

8 - 4.

You want to get rid of Dak. Why? Because he hasn't led the team to an undefeated season? How about 10 - 2? That's still not good enough for you?

You do know this team's key starters on Defense and some on Offense have either been injured most of the season or sick, right? They are barely coming back now. Why don't you be a little patient (and appreciative) and wait and see how these last remaining 5 games turn out now that those season-long absent key veterans are coming back? This Dak-led team just might surprise you.

If you want to argue that Dak and several others are way overpaid and how it's going to hurt this team come next year and beyond? I'm right there with you, but don't be an ungrateful sour puss just because you personally don't like this QB. He's not perfect. He actually gets greedy on the field and tries to go for the homerun once too often, thus resulting in costly mistakes. He's even admitted as much recently (which is a good thing since it shows he understands what he's doing wrong and what he needs to do to fix what he is doing wrong), but he's a very good QB (Top 8 easily in the NFL) and improving every year. Be patient and a little supportive this year. All of the team needs our help and support.

Sounds good to you? *reaching out with a fellow fan friendly handshake*

Parsons is gifted no doubt and is on a great starting foothold, but do not forget how LVE started just a little bit on this same path.
