Along with Ja'Marr Chase, Jefferson and Lamb are the 3 best young WRs in the league.

I have no idea which is better, and I refuse to choose...

I remember 30 years ago having a similar argument with a good friend who was the best WR of the 1988 draft class: Tim Brown, Michael Irvin, or Sterling Sharpe...

Sterling would have been the greatest WR ever if not for that injury. And yes I’m comparing that to rice

I think if NFL GMs had a choice between Lamb and Jefferson I thin 70% of them would take Jefferson.


He’s got such a classic style of play and he’s better out wide.

My problem with Lamb is he is a really good slot guy but not that special out wide.

After the catch though Lamb is the better player.

I think lamb athletically is better. It’s a really good comparison considering Jefferson usually has Adam theilen opposite him (who is a great WR and doesn’t get enough credit) Lamb has Cooper. I think the biggest thing for me comparing the 2 is that catch lamb made last season against funny enough the Vikings I can’t see Jefferson making. Just my opinion

Not sure to be honest. All I know is he was Uber talented. Like generational talent. And like our very own Erik Williams an injury stopped what would have been a HOF career. (Not saying the injuries were similar)

All homering aside, Jefferson is the better receiver so far. He gets in and out of his breaks quicker than Cee Dee does.
Besides, Jefferson is Cousin's main receiver. Lamb has to split catches with Cooper, Wilson and now Gallup.
Dak is reluctant to throw into traffic as Cousin is. Lamb doesn't have the spectacular catches Jefferson makes for this reason, IMO.

I'll just say I'm glad the Eagles took Reagor over Jefferson and didn't trade up for Lamb.

They also forget that Adam Thielen is 1 of the better possession Wr’s and route runners in this league when healthy. Was paid and kept over Stefon Diggs to add.

But because we have Cooper Ceedee doesn’t get respected as a Wr # 1 talent but Jefferson does?

They also forgot that CeeDee by mid point October last season was on pace to break the rookie WR receiving record.

Then Dak got hurt.

Glad to have Lamb and 30 years ago Irvin was the one we needed most.

Jefferson is much better route runner at this point, but CeeDee is much more dangerous after the catch. Apples and Oranges.
We already have a better version of Jefferson with Amari so CeeDee is much more useful for our offense.

We saw glimpse of what our 3WR can do together last week. And we'll see more of it barring any more injuries. They haven't played a full game together this year with Dak. MG went out in the 3rd quarter against TB and when he came back he had limited snaps. Then Amari was out due to Covid and last week he had limited snaps. I'm looking forward to seeing them play a full game together this weekend. They are going to be a problem for most defenses if our OL can give Dak time.

I’d take CeeDee over Jefferson on our team. Without Gallup that could change but for this season right now I’ll take Lamb with Cooper and Gallup.

But in a scenario where I have 2 average WRs on my team and I can only pick 1 I’m going with Jefferson.

I will take Lamb because know why? We got him and we do not have the choice between the two WR's, who were different in college as they are in the NFL. One of the few things they have in common is great WR's playing on the other side and that is greatly undervalued.

There is only one reason Lamb is a Cowboy, he fell to them. They got lucky again, the QB fell a long way to them and their 1A WR as well.

They are different, but if I have to pick one.... Jefferson. Hope CeeDee becomes a more complete player. He has the talent to be great.
