Go ask the Saints about winning 9-0 against the SB champs. They're probably still partying.

Exactly. Would I prefer to blow every team out? Sure, but this is the NFL. Despite what so many on here think, other teams have good players who want to win badly too. We won our third straight game on the road. So enjoy it, for God's sake, you whiners.

3 straight road wins is playing well.
Three wins against bad teams is not impressive. The offense is not winning these games. If you can’t see the offense stinking it up, you are blind. They will be lucky to win a playoff game if they don’t improve. The defense will not get the turnovers when playing against the better teams.

Lol, what are you going to say if they end up in the number 1 position? One of those bad teams just shut out the Bucs and Tom Brady at their home field. Are you blind? Do you understand the game of football? How it works? The Cowboys might lose another game or they might win them all. Either way, they certainly are one of the best teams in the league.

In a word.. No.. you know what the score was in the famous "Emmitt shoulder game" at the end of 1993? It was 16-13. That same great team lost 27-13 to the 6-10 Falcons.. People acting as if the only acceptable result is blowing out every team you play is just stupid. It doesn't work that way in the NFL. With the exception of the ATL game the offense has been putting up C level play for the last 6 weeks.. However with the exception of the Raider game the defense has been coming up Aces. The net result is we're winning and have put a stranglehold on the division and have an outside shot at the #1 seed and the bye. This is about where I predicted us to be.. I called 12-5 coming into the season.. So in my mind I have one more loss to play with.. With that in mind I aint trippin because they looked better than expected in September and October.. and have hit a couple of bumps along the way. The season is 17 games.. not 1 not 5 not 10.. so I evaluate the whole picture.. I fully expect Dak and Moore to figure out this 2 deep defense at some point.. It might be when Moore figures out that he doesn't have to run the ball up the A and B gaps exclusively. If the run game starts eating again the safeties have to come up and Dak and the receivers will feast again. It's the nature of the beast.. Move followed by countermove.. I do think the struggles up front have kind of hamstrung the ability to make those adjustments but they showed signs of getting there yesterday.. I don't care if they "struggle" and win the next three and head into the playoffs with it really figured out.. If they figure it out by playoff time and the defense is still ballin like it is.. we are in for a fun postseason..
Fans don’t expect a blowout in every game. You are totally missing the point. Fans are upset with how the offense is playing. Dropped passes, missed blocks, inaccurate passes, stupid penalties, etc, are not the signs of a good team. Considering the talent that Dallas has on offense, these problems shouldn’t exist. The offense is a long ways from playing up to their potential and they are not showing much that would lead fans to believe that they are changing to solve their problems.

Who have they beat ? They lost to the teams that were in the last Super Bowl. At this point in the season, the team should start coming together to play their best football. The offense is a long ways from playing well and good teams will take advantage of it. The defense has been able to get turnovers against scrub teams, but those turnovers will be rare against the better teams in the league. Your opinion that Dallas is one of the best teams in the league is not proven. The way that the offense is playing barely puts the team in the top ten.

It also helps to just have context.
The WFT is pretty bad but the defense has been drastically improved. They entered the DAL game on a 4-game winning streak and allowing an average of 18 PPG during that stretch,
And NYG last 8 games have allowed more points than Dallas scored only twice. To TB and SD. They allowed 1 fewer point versus the Chiefs

I agree with the OP here. There is a difference between honest criticism and disingenuous whining.

Has the offense been lackluster the last 4-6 weeks? Yeah, it has, to varying degrees. Is there any reason to think they can’t get back to their early season form? No, there is not. When I see people posting about how they have no shot to beat a good team or win a playoff game because the offense is currently in a rut then that is disingenuous whining. The cardinals and the buccaneers are just lost to two weak teams and have had stretches of poor games at times this season. The Rams have had a serious slump this year. Maybe the Packers look to be the most consistent team in the NFC but they too have had poor outings. No teams are totally locked in all 3 phases of the game throughout the entire season. What matters is how we play when we are in the playoffs and any fan who says we don’t have a shot is disingenuous.

Is it fair to criticize the offense currently, or the defense earlier in the season and expect better? Yes, it’s fair, and in fact we should. That’s healthy for a team. But the reality is, that’s not what’s going on with a large number of posters on this forum. They are just whiners with an agenda which we all know what that is.

No one here is whining about the win. People are concerned about the long-term success of this team come playoff time when this team faces actual football teams. And not WFT and Giants...
Yeah. I bet real teams like the Bucs will put up a fight more so than the Saints and the WFT. Oh wait....

This penchant for complaining after this team spanks its third straight opponent is amazing. If you are mad because the Cowboys won this game you may wish to evaluate your fanhood. The defense was dominating the Giants so there was zero reason to take any chances on offense once you got a two score lead. That is how you manage a game to the end. There are no reporters voting you into the playoffs.. you win enough games you get in. Period. So style points be damned.
Lol. I will take it. Just a shame our Offense didn’t get back on that 6 game winning streak. But if you look at it we really don’t need to. We are winning games. Our Defense played great yesterday without 2 starting DTs in Gallimore and OSA. I wanted to see them out there gelling with the team. But still played well. Got 4 turnovers and left at least 2 easy ones on the field. We saw yet another play of a catch and making a move and fumbling and they don’t give us the ball. And then a switch from the Dez catch no catch to them doing the same thing but calling it a catch and was down because of being touched before he goes down so he no longer had to control it all the way down. Was BS..

we are 10-4 with 3 teams for the 2nd seed, believe we now are the 2nd seed, Bucs were shut out, the Caerd lost to the lions and really the ravens took dive instead of going to ot...
.
id say we are a lot better off then fickle whiny fans want to make it.. 2nd best record in the nfl and all complaints. Shut it already.. we can dicus playoff failure IF they happen, this is the RS and we are sitting in nice spot..jeez!!:popcorn:
You acting like we all haven't been here before. Some of us are thinking ahead and hoping the team actually does something in the playoffs versus the usual one and Done. The best we have done since the 90's is 2014 and people were saying this team was supposed to be better. I hope they prove to be so, but the offensive struggles are worrisome and not playoff worthy.

One could argue that being upset when a team that you are a fan of isn't living up to their full potential actually shows that you care more than someone who is happy regardless. Why even bother with forums if you are always supposed to be happy and rubber stamp everything?

Never ever ever forget that the same people who whined constantly saying “I don’t care about stats, just wins”

Are now the same ones complaining about the offenses stats, despite the team being 10-4 and the second seed in the NFC.

Once you realize this. You realize that these people aren’t arguing or debating in good faith.

They have separate agendas and really aren’t worth taking the time to try and have a reasonable discussion with.

Oh I realize it.. It's just fun to tweak their noses in it every once in a while..

By all means feel free to keep tweaking.

I used to try but for the most part don’t have the patience anymore so I just ignore people when I have zero respect for their input.

If an opponent scores 30 points , the offense cannot keep up with the current play of Dak . He is what he is and that is an average to good qb that is paid top 2-3 QB money . Not to mention the inabilities of the running game with a mediocre zeke .

defense has to win in crucial games . No more excuses for Dak anymore.
