Everyone hating on Dak? What's your plan "B"?

How anyone can watch the three other teams in our division and think “yeah, that’s the sort of QB situation Dallas should aim for” is beyond my powers of comprehension.

Lots of young fans here who never had to endure 2000-2005, and older fans who have seemingly forgotten. You want to go back to the days of Drew Henson and Chad Hutchinson? A time when 87 year old Vinny Testeverde was thought of as decent around here?

No thanks

This current Cowboys brain trust (Jerry/Stephen/McClay) is positively awful at evaluating quarterback talent.

They lucked out with Dak and as we know, the guy they really wanted was Paxton Lynch.

The other quarterbacks drafted by this triumvirate: Stephen McGee, Ben DiNucci and Mike White. Not a worthwhile one in the bunch.

For the crowd that so badly wants to move on from Dak, they need to ask themselves if they trust this organization to not take years finding a half-decent replacement.

You draft a QB in the mid rounds for the next 2 years. Daks out year is 2024, so basically stuck for 2 more years - so you hope you hit on one of those QBs.

That's the only thing I can think you can try and do. If one out plays him, you have the most expensive backup in NFL history for a year or so. I know that's not gonna happen, but it's really all you got at this point.

Here’s a crazy idea that is probably not salary cap feasible - Dak for Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers hinted recently in an interview that him and the FO still had to iron out their differences after the season.

Packers kid they drafted to replace him looks horrible.

Pack get their QB replacement instead of draft gambling, we get Aaron Rodgers, much like Tom Brady, in his last years. The Texas heat rejuvenates his bones and he doesn’t have to deal with the C crap in a conservative state like Texas.

You wanted a plan B, right? Just throwing $#@! out there.

We’ve lucked in 15 years of good QB play between Romo and Dak. Neither guy was picked out of necessity to be “the guy”.

Many franchises spend decades going through first round pick after first round pick looking for their guy. Dak Prescott is better than ANY QB that has put on a Chicago Bears uniform in the lifetime of anyone on this forum. The idea that we should just cut him loose, suck for a few years and grab a first round QB is insane.

Gotta fix Tyron spot at LT and WILLIAMS at LG and that will fix DAK. Oh and get Collins fat guard looking azz in shape!
Did you see the chiefs game tonight? Mahomes was sacked at least 6 times, under constant pressure yet still threw for 400 and 4tds and won 42-21,why didn't he need better protection to play well? That ol excuse for Dak is played out.

I don't know what the issue is with the run game...this team has no identity and it pisses me off.

Too many chefs in the kitchen.....your getting input from McCarthy....the jerkoff they brought in from the Giants...Philbon.....Jerry....Stephen....hell...I wouldn't be shocked if you got the crackpot special teams guy throwing in his 2 cents.....and in the end....your got Dak changing 1/2 the plays....anyway. It's a crapshow.

This has been Dallas long before Dak was here. So what's your Dak solution then? @0 years, No Dak. Same or far worse endings. Here's your chance. And don't say Rush. Because then we will know you're just a tool. My solution? Hire a real coach and go from there. Let the new coach hire his own staff also. Not a Jerry Jones next favorite feel good friend.

Russell Wilson, D.Watson, IDK you’re the freaking Dallas Cowboys, make something happen!!!

Can’t do anything. Dallas signed the contract most of you wanted.

You all said Dak was worth it and a lot of you think he’s elite. Well. Now we’re stuck.

I wanted us to trade up and get Zack Wilson......I'd still trade our backfield for him.....Dak, Elliott and Cooper......

Cooper Rush......ewww...

Maybe Cedric Wilson.....oh he had a overthrow today too.....well.....Anger had a nice throw lol.
Was that an overthrow by Wilson? I wasn't sure if it was that, or if Pollard came toward the inside instead of going straight up the sideline.

Dak, cannot be fixed. He is what he is, and that will never get this team to a championship, let alone, an NFC title. The oline stinks, the defense is undisciplined. Lewis and Diggs played like they were on a practice field.

If one is available who they scout and covet...then at least have a open competition.. best QB wins.

Go Cowboys!
Nope, apparently there's no competing for the QB job in Dallas...at least not since 2016.
