Shanahan just beat us with Jimmy G, who is pretty mediocre and limited.

Shanahan could win with Dak because he'd do exactly what he's doing with his QB now. Build a strong run game and play action teams to death.

The problem is that you have become so bitter about Dak that it's pretty much robbed you of any sense of rational thought. Shanahan is a better coach than McCarthy and Moore. But your anti-Dak stance makes you incapable of seeing things like that.
Yes I'm bitter about Dak. The same way I was bitter about Romo. The same way I've been bitter about every QB since Aikman.

I'm bitter about any QB that is holding this team back.

I agree...and I won't sit here and say i'm not a Dak fan. I want to see him win and this team win. And we can sit here and talk about Dak's ups and downs but like I told another poster above.....this offense is not right. And its not just a personnel issue. I see OC's all the time know their QB's limitations....and they build around it. Shanahan knows his qb's limitations.....he knows what Deebo is good at...its just like this offense and its not just under Moore it was under Linehan and Garrett as well....they just line up and play. That's it. The most creative thing they do is a flea flicker. This is just not a formidable offense and i'm really shocked teams are interviewing Moore but like I said during the season....I don't expect him to actually get a head coaching job...I can't see anyone in their right mind giving him one he's just a name they are interviewing.

If that is what you only want to believe, not my problem. I have beachfront property in Idaho for sale, interested?
Be careful with him....he's the same one who told us that Micah Parsons was the next Jaylon Smith.....so you kind of already know what you're dealign with there....

You Dak loyalist are becoming few and far between. Your leader quit the forum because he saw the choke coming. After Sunday the others are starting to see the light. I've even gotten a few apologies from ones that I've went back and forth with.

You last few holdouts are nothing.

This forum is becoming a better place and less delusional by the day.
Anyone who apologized to you is a loser just like you lol. As a matter of fact give me a list of them so I can add them to my block list because i'm not gonna sit through their posts......

That's fine but to pretend Kellen Moore has taken this team as far as they can go with Dak is just silly. There are coaches out there who could get more out of this team than Moore. Moore wants to be pass first whereas this team needs a more run oriented focus like you see from San Fran or even Philly after they tried to make Hurts a 40 throw a game guy.

Dak could possibly work in a run oriented, play action framework.

Too many of you are trying to make this an either/or situation with Dak and Moore.

It's a both situation. It's possible that Moore just isn't the right fit for a guy like Dak and vice versa.

I don't believe Kellen Moore is some genius, but I do believe that he is limited in what he can do with Dak as the QB.

Dak could work in a 2016 style offense, but it seems they don't want to go that route. You don't pay 40 million a year for a bus driver. Jerry will make sure that this is a pass heavy offense just to get his moneys worth. It's what's going on with Zeke right now. Pollard is the better player, but Zeke has the contract.

A damn sidekick lol...like really? I mean you can say that you don't know about him as a head coach but to say he's a sidekick is insulting.....

I agree with you on Nolan but at the end of the day there was no lack of accountability when it came to that hire. MM screwed up...was held accountable and they moved on. He got his guy and he failed. It happens. I'd rather him get his guy and it fail than Jerry put a staff together...that's just not how a team should be ran. A GM should work WITH or under the head coach. He should not be making coaching decisions for the coach. He's over stepping his bounds.

I agree. Which is why I said if you're hiring Mike Nolan and likely would have kept him out of loyalty if the owner/GM didn't force you to get rid of him, should you have been the choice for coach to begin with?

I really don't have confidence in Jerry Jones' decision to hire coaches. Barry Switzer, Chan Gailey, Dave Campo, Bill Parcells, Wade Phillips, Jason Garrett, Mike McCarthy. Ugh!

He's limited because he wants to throw the ball a lot. Dak is probably better suited for a more traditional run/play action style of O that you see in San Fran.

So while Dak might be limited, doesn't Moore have to adapt to what he has?

How do we know he don't want to?

I refuse to believe it's Moores decision that an injured Zeke gets more carries than a clearly better RB in Pollard. I refuse to believe he is THAT dumb.

I think Jerry could be meddling in things as usual. I believe Moore is easily swayed because of his youth and lack of experience so he will do as he's told. He also seems to have no fire to stand up to Jerry.

I'm probably just trying to justify this being a bad team, but I wouldn't be surprised if what Cole Beasely said about this organization is 100% true.

My stance on McCarthy was always I didn't mind him but the process was moronic....they rushed to hire him as if they were scared he was gonna get scooped up. They did not make sure they got the best coach available for this team. He got the best guy that was available for him. Just sucks....

Cowboys were banged up all year too...but you see how many excuses you make for Garrett and the Giants? Its just amazing lol. Funny though you make excuses for them yet Giants made sure they fired their coaches.
I hate the Gints,I hate Garrett.Only thing I care about is Dallas and our QB is holding us back. That’s all.

One of the main reasons he has not received a HC offer they say he has been horrible in interviews.

The problem is I think Moore is too close to these guys. He played with some of these guys. He played with Elliott and Zeke. It's been reported they are real chummy. He's also never known any other franchise (other than his first two years in Detroit) than this one as he went right from being a Cowboys QB to being their QB coach.

So yeah, I think it's quite possible that Moore still has way more faith in Elliott than he should.
