Went right over your head. You guys are ridiculous. How do you expect to have a rational debate when you can't resist the tunnel vision?
Sorry, when I think of wins and losses, I think of the team. I always have and always will. I don't tow the company line.

If you can't AT LEAST compare him to other QBs, this hate attempt is a clownish joke. Ya'll think I'm defending Prescott and assume a lot of other BS but I'm looking for data across the NFL, not just our QB.
I can only go by what you wrote. Don't blame me if you can't express yourself.

You were blabbering about wins and losses...and i addressed that. Now you want to talk about something else.

I'd say you're too emotional here and can't keep track of yourself.

You jumped in the middle, not me. If you can't find context in a conversation that's on you. I said what I said, don't like? I'll survive.

Anyone who makes a living because they can talk football gets my attention. Colin knows the game just as much as anyone here does, and he gets paid big $$$$$ for his opinions.

Who here can talk Pervis Atkins, Eugene White, Cecil Turner, so back off thinking you are some expert.

Why not watch the games. He clearly struggles against good teams and really struggles against better than good defenses. I was at the Denver game he could do crap the entire game. 2 garbage time drives when Den was playing clock kill prevent is only thing that stopped them from shutout......and thats not the only game. Same happened in 2019 against Jets, Saints, Eagles, Bills, NE, Chicago, GB and this year against KC, LA, NO, Wash almost blew that lead. You can't depend on this guy. Needs an allpro running game to succeed. That and I swear he couldnt or wasn't throwing the ball past 30 yards this year or since the calf injury. IDK, I 100% do not trust him in big situations. He has crapped the bad in the 4th too many times, some games he had 2-3 drives at the end to win it and couldnt even move the ball. In 19 against NE he couldnt even advance the ball past the 50 in the 4th with 3 chances. SMH, just wasting our years as fans.
Like I said, you guys fail to truly understand why. It's not because Dak sucks like y'all so easily state. It's because of concepts and how Dak, the WRs, TEs and RBs are being wrongly taught against certain defensive packages like Kurt Warner explained. Our O-Coordinator, QBs coach and WRs coach are getting outcoached and failing to teach our players to adjust to opposing schemes during games. Our putrid Oline don't help at all either, but go ahead and be lazy by just saying Dak sucks. As a QB, you don't break so many passing records by not being good or talented. You're just not being coached properly to make the proper adjustments due to changing opposing concepts.

Andy Dalton started 9 games for us in 2020:

He had 14 TDs, 8 INTs, and threw for 2,100 yards. He also had 2 lost fumbles. So 14 TDs 10 turnovers.

Dak in 9 games after the Pats game and minus the Eagles practice squad joke of a game:

He had 16 TDs, 6 INTs, and threw for 2,300 yards. He also had 3 lost fumbles. So. 16 TDs and 9 turnovers.

There was literally not much difference at all from 2020 Andy Dalton and 2nd half of the season Dak. Also, add in the fact that Martin and Smith was missing games in 2020.

This is also not mentioning that Andy Dalton hadn't played with any of these players and had a much worse offensive line then Dak has this year and got literally knocked out on the field. By the time he came back healthy and got a little chemistry he was not bad, but not great the second half of the season. Pretty much like Dak. I'd be very interested to see what he would have done this year, or Marcus Mariota or a host of other veterans. I think it would have been very similar all things considered with the defense getting so many turnovers and so many defensive TD's. I'm pretty certain, at least in my opinion if Dak wasn't hurt that season he wouldn't be the QB of the Cowboys right now. Although maybe I'm giving Jerry too much credit. Lol

I hate to say I told you guys but I told you guys.

Good luck overcoming this deal. We’d be in a better position going forward if we were awful and possibly drafting a bigtime QB talent than being stuck with Dak at that price tag.

I doubt we put a team around him as good as this one anytime soon.

The team is most likely going to get worse now. If this is Dak on a pretty darn good team, what's he going to look like on a team that 10 starters are UFA's next year and there is no cap room to improve the team. Unless they draft another Micah Parson's I don't see how this team is better next year then it was this year. This was Dak's window and he didn't do it. That contract is going to look worse and worse for Jerry in my opinion. Question is at some point will he admit he was wrong?

Well, Dak is going to be here for a while, so the best thing I think we can do is improve the OL to make him more comfortable and give him more time to progress through his reads.
Yep, even the posters that dislike him need to approach this as lemons/lemonade time because he's not going anywhere and odds are they do another contract with him after this one.

I also believe that if Dak was not injured in 2020 when he was he might not be the QB right now.

He would have regressed to what he is like he always does and we would've been a quick out in the playoffs if we made them.

Even us stupid folks understand losing 23-7 at HOME after 3 Quarters of football.......
Or would you prefer the GB playoff game losing 31-3 at the start of the 4th Q.
As you are a football expert can you tell us, stupid folks, where our QB was for the first 3 Q of these 2 above Playoff games at HOME?????
We were never down 31-3 to the Packers at home. This is why most Dak-haters aren’t taken seriously, you don’t even have your facts straight.

I get QBs have off days, but Dak seems to disappear or not show up for long stretches a lot the last few years...especially against better teams or in big games. It was nearly half the games in 2019 when the offense no showed for big portions of the game then the start of 2020 wasn't much better. I didn't think Dak did anything in 2019 or the few games in 2020 to warrant a huge contract.

2019
vs. 13-3 Saints: offense only scores 10 points (on a day the defense held the Saints to 12 points)
vs. 13-3 Packers: down 24-0 in the 3rd quarter before offense puts up garbage time points
vs. 7-9 Jets: not even a good team, but still managed to get down 21-3 right before half before the comeback falls short
vs. 12-4 Patriots: failed to score a touchdown the entire game (again on a day the defense held NE to 13 points)
vs. 10-6 Bills: score on opening drive then disappear until late in the 4th quarter when they're down 26-7
vs. 8-8 Bears: score on opening drive then disappear until the 4th quarter when they're down 24-7
vs. Eagles with playoffs on the line: fail to score a single touchdown and lose 17-9

2020
vs. Falcons: down 20-0 in the 1st quarter and 29-10 at halftime...ultimately win because Atlanta forgets onside kick rules
vs. Browns: Cowboys were actually up 14-7 in this one then they were down 41-14 before a furious comeback made it close in the 4th

2021
vs. Broncos: down 30-0 before garbage time
vs. Chiefs: failed to score a touchdown
vs. Cards: offense only scores 7 through 3 quarters
vs. 49ers: offense only scores 7 through 3 quarters

Good research. This has been Dak for years. It isn't new, it's not a slump. He played good this year when the defense was getting large amounts of turnovers. When they didn't he looked bad to average. Look at his college scouting report. He's the same Dak now as he was then. He's capable of a good game if the team clicks on all cylinders, if not he's not.

I think he’s getting the 2019 regular season game mixed up with the playoff game.

Well he said “the GB playoff game losing 31-3 at the start of the 4th Q” so I’m merely pointing out how wrong he is.

Dak haters are known to make false statements to support their opinions.

I hate to say this because I am a Dak Stan but the worst thing that happened to the Cowboys was Dak getting hurt last season. He was putting up garbage time stats and losing. I remember two games though that he should have won with his arm. The Rams and Seattle. Dak had a chance to win both games in the end but failed miserably. I believe Amari, CeeDee and Gallup were top 3 wideout units in 2020 but I realize a quarterback that can throw the football would get those guys the ball. If he played the whole season he would have been exposed as an average quarterback. Andy Dalton was so bad that he made Dak look like Dan Marino. We got hood winked, bamboozled, led astray, run amok, and flat out deceived. Dak’s agent sold us the swamp land in Florida for the price of real-estate in California.:omg::facepalm:
The FO got bamboozled once again, not us knowledgeable fans. We knew those idiots weren't wise enough to franchise Dak instead of paying him like he's Mahomes.
