If Quinn leaving gets rid of MM, I hope Quinn gets a HC job this year. No guarantee that happens though. Who knows.
Question is, does he just want to become a HC again or does he have a dream job, say with Seattle if that open up?

Offensive minded coach, can likely bring Rodgers and Adams with him.

Would Denver really need Adams? Rodgers could take Jeudy and Sutton to the next level, not to mention Tim Patrick who we couldn't stop. Throw in Fant at TE and an always good running game there and that offense suddenly becomes dangerous if they can protect Rodgers. Adams is beastly but would be an unnecessary expense, IMO.

They could do that but it would be smarter for them to tag and trade him. Not sure you want a disgruntled WR working with Jordan Love.

Adams is Love's best shot at succeeding or at least getting a good read on whether Love can be the guy. You keep Adams no matter what, pouting or not.

I think if the Bears go with another candidate, it's very possible Quinn returns with a big raise. Giants have a large market, but have zero cap space, no QB and a OL that needs to be pretty much rebuilt.

Certainly starting to look that way.......Broncos and Dolphins are likely off the table. Interestingly the Giant's new GM has a history with Daboll, who's bringing Martindale with him as his DC. Have to believe he'd be at the top of their list but if he chooses Dolphins over the Giants, what does that tell you about that job?

Rodgers probably going to Denver
That wouldnt surprise me.
Denver likes to have the pieces in place and wait for the Mannings to be available.
A-Rod going there would make perfect sense.

Interesting that Quinn was on so many lists, 5 at least, and now is down to either CHI or NY and I don't think I would want either of those jobs.

I never got the DEN situation with firing Fangio and interviewing another defensive coach. If they hoped to be in the Rodgers deal, how would another defensive coach help that?

I don’t think he will but if he goes to the giants guys it’s sentimental reasons. He grew up there as a giants fan- by his own admission had an LT poster on the wall. As much as a dumpster fire they are these head coaches are 1000% alpha male supreme confident guys.

they don’t think we’ll this team sucks so I’ll have no chance....they think “I can turn this around”. Now obviously you need to align with an organization that can enhance and uplift you as well which is why he passed on the jags but as bad as the giants have been and are they are historically since since the turn of the century a respectable organization.

personally, don’t think he gets that job as it seems like it’s daboll’s but these guys think they will have success in most places they go- that’s just how they are wired.

Doesn't hurt picking up 4-6M a year x 4 unless you are Matt Rhule and get 63M guaranteed.

We've got it wrong, the HC's aren't the ones that are stupid.

Genius signing

Thats a nice thought but highly unlikley. I doubt Rodgers wants to go to the AFC and compete with all those young QBs in their prime for the rest of his career and GB certainly isn't going to let Rodgers leave and take Adams with him without using the tag on Adams and getting those draft picks in return so its unlikley to happen.

Wow!!! Cowboys media had Quinn a lock for that job. Maybe we should let the coaching search play out before we hire the new defensive coordinator.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Mike Fisher was 24/7 stating Quinn was good as gone 2 Denver and laughed the notion off, that Quinn would stay. It just proves 1 thing, cant trust the local Dallas media hacks. They are the biggest Jerry enablers and they wouldn't know a real scoop if it hit them on the head. DQ will either be a Giant HC or here.

DEN is following the "Elway Model". You want this player to sign with your school, hire his Dad as HC. You can always fire him after the son leaves, which they did.

They should be #1 in the Rodgers sweepstakes now.

BTW..Denver is dumb. They are really rolling the dice on Hackett. I think its name recognition as well. His Dad was a great coord. DQ is highly proven and would make a great HC in the right system. I think the Giants is a HUGE undertaking but he might just want that gig 2 rebuild the franchise from the ground up truly. I see fit. It will be NY or he stays here.

Nobody knows what happens when teams interview other coaches. The NFL is changing. There are very few defensive coordinators that are successful coaches. I still believe KM has a better chance at getting a head coaching job then DQ. Still a number of jobs open so we will see. Fish is basing everything on the Quinn connection with the GM but the issue I had with Quinn was that the last two coaches had were defensive coordinators. They failed miserably.

Honestly, I think this guy has a better shot than Quinn if he interviews well. With 9 openings, the league has to make sure at least 2-4 minority candidates are hired.

The Saints may take a look at Moore. Never know.

Why does it matter what color ones skin is ? Why cant we hire the most qualified guy? What am I missin? The league shouldn't mettle in what franchises do when hiring.

I think Quinn is headed to Chicago, but I can see him in NY too since he grew up a Giants fan in NJ. Still, with their new GM saying they will build the team around Danny Dimes, will the Giants want a defensive coach to take over the team?
