Ummm doesn’t Dak have 3 stud WRs, 2 capable RBs and other weapons? Stafford was still good with Lions. The Lions are a trash franchise. Your comparison really makes no sense. Are you saying we have to give Dak more so he doesn’t wet the bed in a playoff game?

Mahomes has been to 4 AFCCGs and 2 SBs. I don’t get it
Everything but a solid O-line. Those guys played like crap. You can have all these weapons on the outside and a decent backfield, but you won’t find a whole lot of success without a good O-line.

Games are won in the trenches. And we lack in both.

Actually the only SB Mahomes won he had his best o-line and defense. Again Mahomes is better but he is no TB12 or Aikman, Montana, Elway, Marino yet...so no to me he is not elite...could be but not yet. both were ranked top 5 when he won the SB. Had a good run game even in the year he won the rushed for over 120 in every playoff game..

Aikman was surrounded by HOF and all-pros. Odd to toss his name in there. Hard to compare eras, think you can pull up some names from the black and white days while you're at it?

Also Mahomes did not have the best O-Line in 2019. Their O-Line was middle of the pack. Their defense ranked about the same. Though they played better in areas come playoff time.

I remember people said some of the same things about Peyton Manning and Elway because he didn't win a Superbowl until his last 2 years in the league. Mahomes is definitely elite and he has a great offensive coordinator designing great plays as well.

Now nobody can sit there and say whether a player will or will not become elite after just 5 years. Every quarterback who became elite in the NFL didn't start off being elite in their first 5 years. Some have and some haven't. So there is no concrete way to say Dak will or won't. I respect your opinion tho....

Manning and Elway were winning MVPs. Nobody thought this unless they were morons.

Dude let go of the whole Dak thing said from the start Mahomes is better, maybe your definition of legend defers from mine...if Mahomes never played another down he would not pass anyone i listed as a legend. I'm saying if he is already elite you need another catagory for the other QB's i listed..Dak was nowhere in that list. Again Mahomes is a good young QB who has won a SB..If Burrows wins one this year and never again how big is your elite QB list gonna get?
The man has started for 4 years. He has been the best player on the team all 4 years and has been in the AFC Championship game all 4 years, has been to the Super Bowl 2 times, has won one time. That's legendary already. It's freaking mind blowing.

Burrow going this year is on his way. Dude in his first full year, with a pretty lackluster team, is impressive. Let's see if he repeats this multiple years in a row. If he does, uh yeah, that's going to be pretty freaking impressive.

16. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
The Chiefs dealt with several injuries along the offensive line that limited them to an extent. Despite that, they remained one of the better pass-blocking teams in the NFL. Their pressure rate allowed in 2.5 seconds or less trailed only the Saints this season, and Mitchell Schwartz added another strong season in pass protection at right tackle. Run blocking has been a different story, with three of five starters receiving sub-60.0 grades in that department.

you should've read this before posting the link...I watch football I know how this went, they had 2 injuries during the season that lead to some low run blocking grades but then they were good in the playoffs.

Also its PFF they graded our o-line tops this year do you believe that?

Yup there will be another QB and you will like him or dislike him for whatever reason...but what you wont be able to do is call him a SB winner as long as this franchise is run the way it is and has been for 26 years...those are facts.
Burrows doesn't seem to mind a bad owner situation or an offline that gets him sacked 9 times......
Truth seek it and dare to accept it........then again stay here for the next few years selling the lemon called Prescott.
Either way HF......

If our QB gets sacked 9 times, we are losing something like 34-3 and it's the lines fault. Did I really just like one of your freaking posts? I live in bizarro world.

I said bring it on..again no where have i said "Lets keep this core" in fact have said it needs to go because once you fail here several times its done. This franchise does not fix itself..the only hope is to keep turning it over and hope for blind luck...Jerry's way will not win this.

Interesting. Let me go back to the time Chaz Green allowed 6 sacks against Atlanta and 2009 when Minn was up Romo's butt and get back to you. These were 2 games when our QB was running for their lives, similar to Burrow.

You said they had the best O-Line that year. Those were your words. And they certainly didn't have the best defense. Mahomes hasn't had the best anything outside of maybe skill positions.

If you want to qualify it as them having the best O-Line and defense in the playoffs - then say that from the jump. Though, that's far more limited with half of the league being out of it. Their defense, however, did not rank highly - but it played well in some areas. As for where we ranked - what you are pointing to is similar to what they pointed to with the Chiefs with pressure rate. so apparently yeah Dak was behind just as good of a line.

They literally ranked second in that comment for pass blocking and got players back and ran for 120+ in every playoff game....thier defense was rank #5 again you keep bringing Dak and i keep saying I'm not arguing Dak. I'm saying if Mahomes is elite or legendary as I heard what the hell are the other guys i listed...Mahomes is not elite yet, jeez let the guy do it for a while, he is well on his way and in a good situation to be great. But before you hand him his "I'm better than everyone" title let him be better than everyone. So far he has failed when his team is not as good as others..Aikman for all your "he had hof all around him" also outplayed great QB's with guess what "hof all around them" and was the diference in several games. Tell me exactly what you think the niners had as a team back then or the bills or the packers....yeah dude they all had great teams...jesus the NFC East back then had 3 good teams with HOF all over the place....
