Did you think there were bad calls/non-calls in the Super Bowl?

You'd be surprised just how many high-brow people are sneaks, cheats and thieves. They just get away with it. Just sayin'.

Not with the Scooby-Doo crew of fans 'round these parts. They're all over it from being able to see bias inside someone's head to knowing that refs don't operate with integrity in the slightest under wide-open, recorded scrutiny.

The game is rigged in the sense that they give the team they want every opportunity they can to win the game, but the players still have to execute. In other words, they’ll call penalties or let them go if not so obvious (but sometimes even so — remember the Rams/Saints playoff obvious PI) to rig it when necessary. Too much money involved not to do so. And most people don’t care as long as it looks real enough and they’re entertained. They’ll just blame the refs for sucking or what not for a while, then they’ll get over it and be back on their couches next year hoping their team wins it all because it’s real enough (unlike the WWE which everyone knows is fixed, yet people still watch).

No I wouldn't, I have known and know a lot of people. Pimps, presidents, derelicts, honchos, leaders, followers, cowboys and indians etc etc. Nothing shocks or surprises me, way beyond thinking life is all unicorns and sun flowers. BUT.....my experiences have taught me a few things about people, those who rise to the level of an NFL officials have character if they didn't they wouldn't be there. To think some low rent thug could .....nay!!!!!!!!!!

So exists the “magic” of Tom Brady tying it in the fourth quarter of the Rams game after him and his team were sucking *** for more than three quarters. Just like the “magic” of the strip fumble of him by Von Miller subsequently being followed by a snap over the head of Stafford to be recovered by the TB defense. Just like the “magic” of him and the Patriots overcoming a 28-3 halftime deficit in the Super Bowl some years prior.

There comes a point when statistical anomaly is overcome too often it can’t be anything more than “magic”.

There’s a line in V for Vendetta:

“I — like God — do not play with dice and do not believe in coincidence.”

Too much “coincidence” points to its opposite.

I get you are trolling but that is the best ya can do?
well I am not a investigative reporter lol.
I am not being paid to find proof.
The thing you dont get is that it can be done subtly , and no one will question it , and if they do after few weeks go by they forget about it.
Also people like you and actually most fans do not want it to be true, so even with overwhelming evidence they still would not believe it.

Because people will refuse to believe things that they dont want to be true.
It is like a parent refusing to believe their kid committed a horrible act, that is because they dont want to believe it.

The nfl is corrupt, but no fans want to believe it, because they love it and believing it would ruin it.

What evidence? That's the thing. There is none. A bad call happens and you "malfeasance!" whisperers come up with, "Well, you know, that could have been them influencing the game, you see." That's the best y'all can do. "Could." That's it. No investigations that turn up dirty refs, no TMZ exposes. Just your suspicions and huge leaps of faith to the dark side. Never the side that says these guys are doing the best they can and can't get it perfect. What's that say about you all that you have negative slants constantly? But I guess when one's team loses, they're in a negative state of mind so maybe that's it. Again, "could" be. Lol.

Ok Marcus explain this
why use the term "football move " in the pass rule?
Why make such a confusing catch rule announcers are saying we dont know what a catch is anymore, just wait for the refs to tell us.?
why do they not allow a coach challenge in final 2 min of games?

Why do they keep changing rules each year?
why do they have new "points of emphasis" rules each yearo_O

That is all evidence right there, if your smart enough to recognize it.;)

There is a lot of truth to what you say here. People do not want to believe the game they love can be so corrupt. I grew up in a track and field family.. and was a track and field athlete until I was in my late 30's. As such it was next to impossible for me to completely accept that the sport was dirty as hell. Even after several high school teammates who had gone on to compete in big time international track and field told me to my fact that the sport was dirty and that it would shock you to know some of the people who are cheating. And it was absolutely shocking as hell. If someone wants to cling to the belief that everything in the NFL is on the up and up then let them. I left that delusion behind a long time ago.

so in all this cheating did it ever go your way as well? As I said I think humans make errors but those who make the accusation or cheating or fixing it never seems to go their way it is always against them. It truly is the battle cry anytime someone loses, it is never them it is always the ref.

I know 1 thing I would not want their jobs. For as long as I have watched sports I can't recall a time when people did not complain about refs. Not an easy job they have

maybe BUT this is on the league they can add more refs would have helped us to have an extra or one that cred to run up and set the ball and not wait for their trialing ump lime the rams god.
And the league could finally admit human refs are overwhelmed and add the sky judge and more cameras and use real time from the live feed that we view that we see obvious issues and cal it in and down to the field umpire or judges etc..its neb recommended for few years now as well as making them fulltime etc and nothings being done.. RG is a joke hes a puppet people make fun of Jerry Jones the way he rns one team well Rogers the Jonses of the NFL world..doesnt seem to care to improve the game because it might cost them more money lmao. like they are broke or something..hes the Garett to the league the puppet to the owners.

would have been easy took 10secs to see that rip of Ramseys facemask was penalty and corrected the play ..they refuse.

I'm sorry I disagree, I saw more calls being overturned this season without coaches having to challenge as quick replay would correct the call. As for your rant on Garrett and I'm not getting into that. Fact is Dallas has had calls go their way as well, fact is there are calls they we have gotten away with. I have watched many games where we got away with a PI or a hold that could have easily been called and of course it goes the other way as well where we get the ticky tack call. This past season Dallas lead the league in penalties yet in most other years we are pretty much middle of the pack in terms of penalties. If people were out to get the Cowboys you would think we would lead the league every year and that is not the case.

I will agree that the NFL needs to look at better way and constantly work on improving the officiating of games and it may help if for say 2 to 3 years we have an off season where they are not making new rules.

People not being able to understand is not evidence. The catch rule is as convoluted as it is because football athleticism is off the charts compared to how it used to be. So the rules need to try to account for every little thing that "could" (there's that word again) happen so there's direction on how to rule. The big deal about the Dez no-catch was half Dez' athleticism exceeding the existing rule and half fans not understanding the rule. The latter is why people think we were robbed with that call because they didn't even understand the rule they were railing against. I can explain it backwards and forwards and they just ignore the damning parts and repeat "malfeasance!" but can't explain why. That's ignorance, not a conspiracy. Announcers don't get paid to know the rules and from a controversy aspect, it's better that way to drive interest for ratings so I don't think they make an effort to know.

A challenge doesn't get initiated by a coach in the final 2 minutes in case a coach has exhausted all his challenges and can't use one during the pivotal parts of the game. Do you really not see this? Have you ever seen a team denied a review in the final 2 minutes? It helps teams, not hurt them. This is the clearest case of you seeing malfeasance where you want to see it.

The rules change each year because there are better ways to address what "could" happen in a game, probably after it happened and there isn't a rule to address it. Points of emphasis are what the league wants to address. You think the new taunting rule is dumb? Or when they started ejecting players for personal fouls after the Beckham-Norman fight club game? Stuff happens and they respond. Just how it works.

This is why I keep posting this tweet of the late no-call that won us that game to see what the malfeasance! crew says about it. The last one I got was "incidental contact." LMAO. And they call me a ref lover.

I agree. I am neither a ref hater or lover. I respect that the job they have is hard and things will be missed and sometimes from a certain view point something may look like a foul but from another view you can see clearly it is not. We as fans have TV broadcast giving us 4 to 5 angles of the same play, ref only has the 1. As for the Cowboys just like other teams we get some that go our way and some that go against us. I have hear people we should use something called an eye judge which could make the calls within a game. However I think the end results would be a lot of penalties being called, as they say you can find holding on almost every play, who wants that?
