I don't remember fans wanting him gone, especially his last 2 years here. But when we saw his contract I think most reasonably said he was a solid player but not worth the contract.

He seems active near the line of scrimmage but in coverage he’s a liability . Can’t we do better. I’m looking forward to seeing a healthy Jabril Cox compete for a starting job and bring Neal back .

We're far more likely to draft a promising LB, rather than to take a chance on a LB who's over the hill.
KC has already passed on him. Aside from that, Jabril Cox is far more likely to benefit Dallas.
