Numbers the kids are putting up are great and all but something this process CAN'T measure is what's between these kids' ears and their hearts. That IMO is where the real football player starts.

Davis testing numbers were great, but unless he can rush the passer, he isn't going to be a Cowboy.

I'll tell you one kid that was a "loser" was Kyren Williams. He's a kid I really like but to be that small and slow is pretty tough. That said, I still wouldn't blink to spend a 6th/7th round pick on him. I think he and Austin Eckler have a lot of similarities to their games, though Eckler tested out much better as an athlete albeit Pro Day numbers.

I've been drafting Damone clark for the Cowboys. He has a starter grade on NFL and would be just what our putrid run defense needs
I don't know if the Cowboys would take Wyatt wtih his arm lenth.
Without knowing what free agency will bring, Davis would be the best upgrade they could make to the defense

Big fan of Clark too.

I wanna like Wyatt but his relative lack of production scares me.

Yes, maybe it's because of all the talent on that defense but you do have to project with Wyatt. I still like Mathis, good production against the run and 9 sacks, and he has long arms.

WR, and the guys on defense really stand out. And I don’t even know what to say about Davis. As freakish as they come. I think he’s more Poe than Vea, but he’s got some athletic traits that will intrigue even our front office. If you think you’re drafting a kid that absolutely shuts down the run game then I don’t know that you should ignore that.

Troy Anderson from Montana St needs more love.

Don’t care what school he played at…6’3 243 with 4.42 speed is extremely impressive. He was a dominant running/option QB (1,400 yards and 21 tds in ‘18) that moved to LB just a couple years ago so will likely need some development time but he has the intangibles according to pretty much any/every place that has done a write up on him. Intangibles + elite size and speed = good things to come. Will be interesting to see where he ends up being drafted, he already had some hype after a good week at the senior bowl.

Instincts to me is the biggest trait for a linebacker. We have had crazy athletes at the position before and they struggled, Bruce Carter was one
