Nice try. Schultz is not as important to the offense as Kearse is to the defense. The point I was making, that you're attempting to ignore, is that talent sometimes languishes on the bench when they have the goods to start and do well. It flies in the face of your "only 1 year" bull which is why you never address how Kearse was used in his career until recently. Still not going to address his year in Detroit? Among the combine chatter last week was how well Wilson was going to do in free agency, which was not good news for the Cowboys.

Multiple sources believe Wilson could be in line for a deal that averages $6 million to $8 million a year. The Cowboys might be able to make the low end of that market work but not the high end, even if they cut Cooper. (This is with the assumption Gallup will be retained.)

Pretty sure his coverage stats on TEs led the league. He was among league leaders in passes defensed.

Wilson is a much better, cheaper signing than Gallup. You can sign Wilson and Turner for less than Gallup gets and don't have to worry about a guy coming off a knee injury.

You sign Gallup and Wilson to go with Lamb. You draft a shifty WR or sign a guy like Crowder/Humphries.

You sign Turner and you give him the Noah Brown role. Special teams, #4 WR, takes reps when a starter goes down.
