Whataburger rules all.
Slaps silly in and out burger in da face.
Man I've really got to try that stuff again.

Only had it once, in 1991....first time I went to Dallas for a game.

I love burgers but I really couldn't believe how awful it was. Greasy with big chunks of raw onion. After I left I smelled like I worked a shift there. Wasn't happy.

But many of you here seem to love it. It's gotta be me lol. So...next time I'm down that way....I'm figuring it's southwest only. Not finding one in NJ lol.

In and out is overrated also but I thought it was pretty good.

Blame your Bro for not putting him in a position to produce! Over-under throwing balls. He’s a good receiver that his qb could never throw open. He would have to sit and wait for balls never in stride!

That's what happens when your QB is a check down Charlie.

This! I’m so tired of greedy players and everyone who defend them. Big contracts limit other roster moves. Period! But players want to be the highest at their position even when they aren’t the best. It erodes the team and limits success IMHO.

Do you think of others in your company when you negotiate salary or ask for a raise?

This ain't Dak contract, it's Stephen Jones and the Cowboys fear of the salary cap that other teams seem to nor care about.

I still maintain my older brother would beat the ever living hell out of me for running my mouth like this, which could be interpreted many ways re Dak, but none are good, which is disappointing because now I’m wondering if my previous thoughts on Dak as a pain were me getting taken for a ride (independent of him as a QB)

Stephen could've signed Dak for 28mil but didn't and told him to prove it. Then he franchised him to him to prove it. Then he signed him for 40 mil per after he proved it. Dak contract falls squarely on Stephen Jones's lap.
What on earth are you talking about?

The Cowboys had an offer on the table as soon as league rules allowed... after Dak's third season. The offer was for more than 28 million. There reportedly was a handshake agreement but before the pens were put to paper Dak chose to decline and the ridiculous "Dak is betting on himself" mantra was born.

This revisionist history that the Cowboys could have and should have signed Dak for less had they done it sooner is horse crap. They tried to make him the second highest paid QB in the league and Dak chose to "bet on himself" instead.

If I remember correctly, they tried to offer him a bit less than what Wentz and Goff signed for. It's been awhile, so I forget.

I'm a goofball most of the time. And I wish there could be threads where it does not turn into a bashathon of every member of the organization We had a decent season last year and almost no one can admit to it. The vocal minority is blowing this place up!!
The only purpose of the regular season, to get to the playoffs, and then the SB. Last year was a colossal failure in the end. Beating losing teams proves nothing.

Greedy contract? Jerry & Stephen’s incompetence is why the contract ended up hitting the dollar value it did. They were too stupid to sign him to an extension immediately and the wait just pushed the contract into the stratosphere.
Correct, they should have let him walk.

Lol....you have to win to get there, so winning proves a lot...lol
By your logic making it to the championship game and losing the superbowl proves nothing..lol

If I remember correctly all of these contracts were being worked on at more or less the same time so the Goff/Wentz deals weren't done yet when Dak was deciding on his offer.

As it turned out all three were right in the same ballpark of 32 million per year.
Wentz 33.5.... Goff 32..... Dak 32 (reportedly).

Whatever the case, the Cowboys made Dak an offer that would have made him the 2nd or 3rd highest paid QB in the league, at the first opportunity they had to do so.

Name all the SB and conference game losers without looking them up.

Winning seasons don't mean crap without titles.

It's been how many years here? 50-50 that's not awesome by my standards, and lots of Cowboys fans either.

Do you consider Garrett a winning coach? Come on

I can actually name the SB losers, not the Conf. game losers.

I know I'm in the minority, but I think reaching the SB is a successful season with a grand disappointment at the end.

But even when you don't reach the SB, but are a legit contender year in and year out, those failed seasons are far better than going 8-8. You have hope every year. It's way better as a fan. I know. The Cowboys had a lot of failed seasons in the 70s and early 80s. But as a fan, I was way more excited than I've been in the last decade.

I hear ya. Most have settled for mediocrity. Winning and going 50-50 every other isn't good. The problem is they'll never get a real coach and that alone will hinder this team forever.

There is a salary cap. It's that people get confused between teams that know how to best take advantage of it, and teams that don't. Some teams make it look like it doesn't matter. The Cowboys however, they let us know it's real. You don't say?

Absolutely. Our success came as a direct, or indirect result of the 3 good coaches we've had. But I have a soft spot for Fat Mike. If my dog, Fat Tony, had an avatar, it would be Mike McCarthy. I just want to give the dude one more year to see if he can improve this team.

I just want to see this team play with the intensity level they played with during the Parcells era. Win or lose, they were giving it their all. Or at the very least, the intensity level of the 49ers. The wanted it more than us and it showed.
