Dak has ruined this team

Don't forget how they ran Zeke into the ground because of Dak. Had this team had a good QB they could of taken some of the load off Zeke and he might still be productive.
I hear the war in Ukraine is Dak's fault.....and the inflation too. oh, and covid was his fault too.

This isn't true. Dak turned turned down an offer that would have made him the second highest paid QB in the league at the time of the offer. This offer was made to him as soon as it was possible per league rules, after his third season.

Dak chose to "bet on himself" and proceeded to play hardball for both more money and an unprecedented shorter term.

All easily verifiable so you don't have to take my word for it.
Maybe he did turn it down, but the Cowboys still had a chance to sign him before that.

Think about all that we’ve given up for this teams buy in with him

-cap hell for the next decade

-losing out on good players and free agents

-he’s about to get his second coach fired next year

-the 2016 decision to go with him over Romo leading to a first round exit

-squandering the best cowboys team in 20 years with another first round exit due to poor qb play

-cutting or trading players who don’t get along with Dak or we just can’t simply afford them anymore

Think about the following qb option we had the last 2 years

1. Tom Brady
2. Aaron Rodgers
3. Russell Wilson
4. Dashaun Watson
5. Matt Stafford

And Dak makes more money than all of them. I know this isn’t all predicated on Dak but it’s kind of hard not to feel that we’ve been cheated out of something since we signed him to this ridiculous deal

Cowboys have 2 playoff wins in the last 26 years but “Dak” ruined the team ROTFL! I am fairly certain it’s Jerry Jones doing the ruining and not Dak.

Post of the month without a close second

If you think Dak drafted himself, gave himself an extension, and made every other boneheaded personnel/contract decision over the last 26 years...

...then yeah, post of the month.

Stafford wasn't available before we made the trade, neither was the team ready to have stafford leading it anywhere.

Rodgers was never available....this ain't Yahoo fantasy football.

Murray hasn't done squat. wait at least until he wins a playoff before annointing him. he is just grass that's greener on the otherside, until you get there......
You mean stafford was not available when jerry already paid dak ? that may be true but if i was jerry i would have worked to get him or deshaun watson or others when dak started asking for more than 30-35 mil . which was in early 2020 sometime. or late 2019. otherwise , yes it was too late.
Jerry will stick to dak like he stuck to zeke and others before because he is too stubborn to admit his pick was not special or super bowl special.
Regarding Kyler. He looked so much head to head against the cowboys than dak . Plus dak had so many weapons and never delivered.
but it is all spilled milk ; we are all invested in dak now for 3-4 years and there is little hope he can take the team to a CCG.
Remember when i told you his contract will come back to bit the cowboys.? it is now.

8-0 at ATT Stadium :laugh:How many of those were in High School/College. And nowhere did i say Dak was all world or even better, like i said take away his legs and the dude is straight up bum. Strong arm maybe but less than average accuracy.
simple question. in two games head to head against the cowboys , at AT&T . don't you agree he was the dominant QB ?
If kyler is a bum , what does that say about dak ? who was playing at home and who has way more weapons. Something does not add up when you defend dak.

Has Stafford even won a play-off game prior to going to the Rams? What exactly would Stafford have accomplished in Dallas? The Rams is the same team that took Goff to a superbowl and went 'all-in' this year. Put Dak on the Cowboys with Jalen Ramsey, Aaron Donald, Von Miller, Odell Beckham and Cooper Kupp and it'd be Dak hoisting up a trophy while Stafford would be sitting at home
stafford languished in detroit too long , that is why he won a super bowl in his first season with a good team . Dak has had so much more weapons and did squat. Dak is way more talented than dak by the consensus of experts. Dak's excuses are running out fast.

Sure he was, also plays in a system that is custom made for his talent. Funny you didn't mention his playoff record, 0-1 19-34 passing with 2 picks.

Yes Kyler had a terrible game against the rams ,but we all know that team won the super bowl and the cardinals had OL issues . How did Dak a fare at home in the playoffs against the 49ers . Or home agiast denver and others . Most NFL teams would take Kyler over Dak in a heartbeat . This is the reality of Dak’s limited abilities . Kyler can be lethal if protected . Dak is mediocre regardless .

What?

They offered him at least two deals and he refused, holding out for the deal he eventually signed. The only way they could have signed him earlier is if they offered the deal he eventually signed.

He played on the tag for less than he would have received had he signed the 35 million/yr deal he was offered.

They were never going to be able to sign him cheaper than they eventually did. He played hardball and the Cowboys caved, just like they did with Zeke.

no, its a fact that they could have signed him earlier and cheaper. they were in fact negotiating in the last year of his contract prior to season starting and they couldn't close the deal for a couple of million per year that Stephen wasn't willing to do, which would have made his deal about 28M per year. the prior year to him signing, the word was he was willing to sign for 33-34M and deal didn't happen because he wanted less years and Jerry wanted more years....and then he got tagged. its all out there for you to go search up.....
Lol.

That's all I got for this nonsense.

LOL right the OP also says dak makes more then all of them but that not even close to truwe rogers makes 50 now or close to it
Mahomes 45 Josh 42+ and than dak at around 40 with new deals coming and brady back id say dak will be 5-7 in pay and ironically enough hes around 6-10 in ranking s..its the going rate for franchise starter.,. i mean Cousins i believe has made over his career more than any of them..thats what the NFL is if you are top 12 top starter you get huge money. couisns leaves and 5 years later Wash still cant find replacement, its why you pay the better qbs so you are that team serachig for decade for one as good as the one you decided to cut or trade. seatles about to find that out.

the post was total troll hater attempt.. none of the info is correct and debates are inaccurate.

when was stafford available? Detroit had never made him available, until this past year when they went through rebuild. and do you seriously think Stafford would win a championship in Dallas? really? with the draft picks we would have given up, then it wouldn't be any Parsons. same crapppy defense. and Dallas would be Detroit south for Stafford.

you all play too much yahoo fantasy football. you have no clue how NFL works.

now, you want to make this all about Dak as if he is the only reason that Dallas is struggling, in the meantime the rest of the house is collapsing. what about all the years prior to Dak. perhaps he was born, and it was Karma for Dallas to be bad because of that.

That's fine, but when another failed season happens I will not be asking "What went wrong?" because I am able to look at things with unbiased eyes.
Well, it won’t be because of your standing opinion I previously referenced.

To discern means to intellectually/rationally (unbiasedly) separate things appropriately according to a specific context, e.g., weight, priority, hierarchy of being, etc. Just saying certain individual players are losers because they haven’t won in a team game is the complete opposite of it.

When you have an organization that goes with a rookie QB in arguably its most talented roster in the past fifteen years over a season veteran and better QB who was playing like a top 5 QB (finishing with a QB rating higher than Rogers) in the league only two years before, there is a more SERIOUS fundamental problem with it than who the QB is.

I'm saying they are losers because they are playing the most important position, getting paid the most, and failing over and over with teams that have the pieces in key places, but in big moments they, as the QB, have been a weak link.

There are a lot of problems with this organization, and over paying overachieving undrafted/4th round talent at the most important position on the team is certainly one of those problems.

Again, I'm not mad at Dak and Romo for getting paid. Get your money. But, getting paid doesn't all of a sudden mean they are better than they were are/were.

yeah. you have no answer. so you chuckle and put your tail between your legs and just run away like the good boy that you are.....go on now.
I have spelled it it out a half dozen times in two different threads.

There is no "answer" for the made up nonsense you posted.

Dak turned down 32 million then 35 million. Offers at or above the deals his contemporaries, Goff and Wentz accepted. Offers that would have made him between top five and top two highest paid QB's in the league. He played for less on the tag than he would have received had he taken the 35 million/ 100+ million guaranteed he rejected.

You go ahead and blame Jerry for not signing him 'earlier and cheaper' though....

My goodness...... You must be on Tad's payroll.
