Signed by Cowboys Cowboy sign Leighton Vander-Esch to 1-yr deal

No matter what the FO does, you ppl are going to criticize it. Those darn Jones boys can do nothing to please you.
I mean, I would love Bobby Wagner. Who wouldn't? But it never was going to happen.

He knows Dan, he knows the scheme. We've essentially lost Gregory and Kearse. Gregory will be hard to replace and Kearse can be replaced.

Utterly amazing how they will go out of their way to sign multiple mediocre players rather than one or two good players.

Lve has been trash for us. He has played just as bad as Jaylon. There have been a few games here and there that were good. But few and far between. To top it off, he's injury prone.

Right.

I have no problem with resigning Armstrong or LVE as long as they're in addition to improving the roster. They've literally done nothing that pushes this team forward talent-wise.

good.
he's better than the cheapies they'd bring in.
I disagree.
If we did give him 5 mil, I think we misspent.
KJ Wright played for 3 last season.
He is older yes, but he is blow up the run SAM.
He sticks his head in there and blows up run plays.
LVE gets pushed 5 yards off the LOS.
IF Parsons will be playing more EDGE (because we screwed up the Gregory deal), we really needed 2 LB's. A Mike (like Wagner) amd a SAM (like Wright).
As of now, we are a much weaker D than last year.

What's funny is the Patriots Twitter accounts are eerily similar to ours as they were counting on getting LVE and are now slamming the FO as incompetent.

Hoping this was for around $5M.

Still haven't added anything to improve the team. Just bring back the same group of losers.

Its almost like the same guys who kept Garrett for 10 years, started Quicny Carter and Chad Hutchinson, drafted (!) Dwayne Goodrich, traded for Roy Williams, preferred a guy named Taco over the best defensive player in the league, gave a 90 million dollar contract to a RB, lured a 90 yr old Kiffin out of retirement, and so on, are still in charge

Why trot the same losers out there? That's our GMs motto: No results, no problem. No one can make us do any different.

I’m sure everyone would love Wagner
But to me you spend your FA dollars on positions that are hard to draft
The rest you draft
If we spend on an expensive FA I’d rather it be on an edge rusher or other position that’s hard to get in draft
LB and guard are both needs but both are positions that can be draft outside the first round fairly successfully

Good signing. As much as I love Wagner, we would have had to over pay him to get him here.

I wonder if Jerry knows that just because LVE tested free agency and nobody wants him doesn't mean you have to throw him a bone? You can move on. You're allowed.

Ugh…. This FO

Exactly. I'm fine with filling the roster. We have to. But this roster has gotten worse than last year, and they don't seem to care

I think LVE, Cox and Parsons are going to be a good LB group. I just hope Cox did not lose and speed and quickness as a result of his injury.

When you havent fielded a super bowl championship winning team in 25 years you better be preared for criticism. Just sayin.

Even a team that got to the NFC Championship game would be nice…
