Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign Dante Fowler

How? He's played like a backup for most of his career
Read carefully. Even if he’s a backup pass rusher, we are now better than we were an hour before signing him. Between DLaw, Armstrong, Basham, Fowler, and Gholston, we now have a full rotation, competition, and a fallback plan in case we don’t get to draft a quality DE in April. On paper, it’s not better than last year’s team, but it’s better than yesterday’s team.

Still only 28 when the season starts and reuniting with Quinn as well.

Played in the 3-4 with the Rams. Also played in a Super Bowl. Plays much better in a 4-3.

Oh I love the signing, but you expect more out of a third overall pick. Even if he becomes a solid player or One step above being solid, he's still a bust.

He allowed 2 sacks all season, and was the #3 rated run blocking OT, not RT, OT! In the league.

Yet @Ken just claimed Steele played "much better".
Again, y'all should watch some of the Cowboys games.
Oh lord his PFF rating. A guy as good as you think should not have any problem latching on to team and getting a very good contract.

Nothing meaningful from the cowboys this off-season. I dont get it why restructure contracts and cut Collins then do nothing with the cap space

“But he was a premium pick just a few years ago! He’s gonna shine here and get 15 sacks. Just wait!”

What sucks is when we try this, we get like 6 sacks and a one year deal. When other teams do it, they get 18 sacks out of Robert Quinn.

Hes a warm body a depth guy at DE that MAYBE DQ can squeeze some better results from. MAYBE. Low risk, high reward guy. I don't hate it. He does have edge ability. He basically has the same production as Randy did and is younger by 2 and a half years. We still need a dawg like Wagner.

If Armstrong and Fowler split 50% at RDE and combine for 10 sacks (5 each) would you be happy with that production from our RDE? Because that sounds reasonable?
Much will depend on DLAW and the DT position. Can we stay healthy and can we become bigger inside? If yes, that will help the ends and linebackers. Wagner/kearse is still the missing puzzle piece. If we can sign them, all these pieces make sense. Then its all about the draft.

Rated by who? PFF? PFFFFT.

They have no idea what they are watching.

He was #9 in penalties in only 10 games. I do know that.

He visited the Bengals literally the next day after being cut. Doesn't seem he's having any issue at all.
That's really you counterpoint? That's pretty weak haha.

Also not going to touch on only 2 sacks allowed? Yikes.

Third overall pick in 2016 who will be playing for his 4th team in 6 years, so yes he’s in the bust category. He was part of that Atlanta defense that we overcame a 20 point deficit in 2020.

same draft as Gregory but 19 more sacks, so less of a bust than Gregory.

He and Randy have similar numbers. This looks smart actually IF and only IF, he is surrounded by Wagner and dawgs like that.
