Exactly............We are going to have over $30 mill in cap space on June 1st, barring a major singing but we all know that aint happening, and Cooper's cap hit this year is $5 million. We could have easily afforded that.

Yeah, they probably got pissed he never got vaccinated for Covid and ended up missing a couple of games over it. Jerry even went on the radio and cried about it.

So shipping him to Clevland for a bag of Doritos was their way of "punishing" him..........................it was never about the cap.
Yeah I think it was that and I bet it was something personal as well. There story will eventually come out but I just sense there was something internal there.

You and @WillieBeamen was out of pocket on Amari from the jump. Now yall got what you asked for. I still don't get how he doesn't get targeted and that=him disappearing. Atleast let me see a bunch of drops and alligator arms which I didn't see.
he was better than what we heard on here.
i'll still never understand why that last throw in the 9ers game went to wilson and not cooooop or ceeeeedeeeee.

The Cowboys can do whatever they want and they are doing fine. They are in position to win their division again and be one of the best teams in the league again. The drama here is hilarious and ridiculous. The Cowboys will sign more players and they will draft some more good players as well.

Browns are going all in this year like the Rams. They got Brissett to hold down the fort until Watson’s suspension is over. They have two awesome backs and a ferocious defense. They will be salary cap poor soon enough folks. Won’t be able to keep all these toys.

when you have just a better than average QB, top shelf elite receivers are not worth it. better off with a capable, low cost bunch to spread it around.

if that just better than average QB is paid as elite, this team will be salary cap crippled

When in doubt Dak throws it to the shorter safer option regardless when Cooper is open. Coupled with coaches not scheming for things to go through 1 specific player and then all the personal reasons regarding covid. That all came together for the front office to decide to move in from amari. So they signed a career backup and a guy they like but can't stay healthy the last couple years. They are about to be reminded why they needed to give up a 1 for Cooper.

They were loaded before and while they aren't winning a SB you can't say they didn't make some changes to try and improve. Though I don't think Watson was worth it.

And what have other teams done so far that makes them better for this year?
I think a couple of teams have made improvements
Some have got worse
All of which is just on paper
You just never know
I didn’t think we made significant improvement in our defense last off season but they were much better

Coop is who he is.

The Cowboys moved on for the same reason the Raiders moved on. Being paid $20m for less than 1k yards receiving.

If he balls out in Cleveland, it will be simply because of Deshaun being a way better QB than Dak
