1st or 2nd chair?Stats aren't bias or narrative driven.
People SAY Dak isn't accurate, stats PROVE otherwise. Especially compared to other QB's that the same people say thats better than Dak.
Watch film, compare stats, improve your football knowledge.
Dak played incredible until the moment he got hurt against Patriots
Oh, I believe you. Sometimes I think they must be making the personnel decisions. 26 years of abject failure, but the stats say they are due.I can't remember who it was. I can't remember if it was on this forum or the old Cowboys forum. What I'm about to tell you might make your head hurt. But someone on these boards actually said the opposite. To be careful. To not always trust what you see. Trust the stats. I swear I am not lying.
which only means one thing. if you can consistently drop 7 into coverage, any QB will struggle, even the great ones. but this points to the OL, the only way teams play that style, dropping 6, 7 into coverage agaisnt 2,3, recievers, is that they are able to generate consistent pass rush with the 4,5 front guys and that they can stop the run, so they don't have to bring too many players into the box.His injury may have affected his performance but the Denver game was where it started as far as I can tell. Defenses covering 2-4 of our receivers with seven or eight guys is a losing proposition for most QBs including Mahomes and Rodgers.

Agreed especially on those pass plays in which CW would just completely whiff and let his man just run straight through untouched. But even more importantly is the lack of push on running plays. I’ve never seen our oline at the snap get so little push up the middle which is why DCs were perfectly fine with dropping 7 into coverage. McGovern was the worst as he would wait for the DT to initiate the contact. And Biadasz well he would inexplicably block the wrong guy or get bull rushed back into the rb. Pass defenses stuffing our running plays is a recipe for disaster for any qb.

Dak sux!Just about all quarterbacks need a strong supporting cast; unless you're talking about Brady or Rodgers.
For example, Matthew Stafford, Lions, or Matthew Stafford, Rams? Would Stafford have a ring if he remained in Detroit? Same quarterback, different cast around him. That's all I can say.

You do realize Brady makes players around him better though. Those defenses wouldn't of been as good had Brady didn't play keep away with the football. Plus the defense went balls to the wall to get him the ball back because they have confidence in him.Brady played the bulk of his career backed by a top 5 defense. I think the Pats were number 1 overall in defense like 5 times in his career there and top 5 another 5 or 6 times. He has been great but the narrative that he's been "carrying" these teams over the course of his career is vastly overblown. Hell even the Bucs had a top 5 defense two years ago.. But nobody talks about that..

it doesn't matter. yes, all QBs need a support system around them. no QB does it alone, but its what you can do when you have those around you. Brady translated those to 7 rings.Brady played the bulk of his career backed by a top 5 defense. Brady uses ball placement on his WRs too. Sure he might throw a few high balls but on that 3rd and 10 he will fire the ball low and right into a WR sliding to the ground in a wall of traffic.

Yeah it absolutely comes down to what you can do when things are "right." But go look up the number of playoff wins Brady got while scoring 20 points or less. I think you would be amazed..
