Sarcasm, eh?. Lol ok sure, whatevs.I see my sarcasm and points were completely missed. I will try harder in the future.
No offense but you really need to take a long look in the mirror.
Do you REALLY think i didn't know what you were talking about when I cited facts about the 2015 team that he inherited?Sarcasm, eh?. Lol ok sure, whatevs.
Dak hasn't shown that he's reached the next level in his QB progression. Early on, his mobility was a big asset to compensate for his lack/limitations of passing ability.
Now, he doesn't display that same zeal to use his running ability, mainly due to his hesitation from injuries and his seeming want to prove that he is a legitimate passer.
He is still a quality QB but he has yet to show he is a Force Multiplier as a QB. FM's elevate their team and overcome player limitations. He hasn't shown that ability and now we are stuck paying him as a top QB and we may not see him reach that FM level. I think the struggles by his Oline have taken a toll and he doesn't seem as confident and that affects his accuracy.
He seems to gain a lot of his stats during garbage time after the team has fallen behind by double digits. He teases a comeback but seems to come up short more times than not.

How embarassing that someone thinks that breaking all kinds of Cowboy's passing records and finishing top 5 in multiple passing categories does not equate to "elite passer"
Some mythical measurements must exist that I am not aware of to attain this label.
Since Dak entered the league, only 3 QBs have more game winning drives: Brady, Rodgers, and Wilson. Yes, he has fallen short at times as well. That speaks to how often the Cowboys have found themselves in that position during his tenure.
As to your original question, the only improvement I think we can realistically hope for is faster reads. Physically, of course, things will decline over time. Dak is what he is - good, not great. The notion some have that he "sucks" is ridiculous, but he's not "elite" either.
Let's face it. The only good Dallas QBs since Aikman were found by accident.
Yes....you call this...sarcasm?:Do you REALLY think i didn't know what you were talking about when I cited facts about the 2015 team that he inherited?
Ultimately....yep!Lol see you're a stats guy, none of that has gotten us anything!! Who gives a damn about this, so tired of hearing about his stats, tell me his playoff stats and how he got his team out of bad spots to be relevant in the post season
Still don't mean it's right or accurate, Burrow has played 1 full season , lists and rankings get questioned all the time, at 1 time RG3 and Carson Wentz was considered a top 5 qbs
And yet Burrow has taken his team to the SB in his first full season.....yeah let's rank him behind someone who hasn't even gotten past the first round.....but has great stats since he plays 6 games against Div II teams every year.
No offense but I have no idea what you are trying to say.No you need to if you believe 1 full season shape a qb. Did you forget Wentz/Rg3 ? It's ignorant.
Joe Burrow ultimately lost because of his Oline.
That team was also carried by the defense in the playoffs. Now if you have a defense that can hold the best teams in the NFL to under 20 points in the playoffs, then you dont need much of an offense.
Bengals held the Raiders to 19 points, shut down the Titans run game and held them to 16 points, held Mahomes and the Chiefs to 24 and then held the Rams in the SB to 23 points.
Burrows offense in those games averaged 23 points per game. Not earth shattering to say the least.
Piss poor example and especially considering Burrow basically lost in the end because of his Oline giving up 9 sacks to the Rams.
You would probably be hard pressed to find another example of a team with such a poor line even making it to the SB. More of a fluke then any kind of defining analysis.
