Is Dan Marino a Loser?
At being part of a championship winning team? Absolutely.

Let me ask ya something. The Bengals lost the Super Bowl last season, right? That makes the Rams and their players the winners and the Bengals and their players the____? What? Fill in the blank.

That's fine.

Nate won't get a gold jacket, but Marino and Kelly won't get a ring. Not everyone can be part of a championship winning team. That's why it's special.

I'm an alien from another galaxy.
I have just arrived on your planet and have been advised that the # 1 sports franchise in the world has an elite QB leading them for the last 6 years.
My superiors have instructed me to send them evidence of this Mr.Prescotts Greatness?
Please post all his Glory playoff and Superbowl moments here so I may accomplish my mission and return to my home planet......:muttley:

LOL No offense but you obviously have no idea what you are talking about and couldn't have watched him. Look at 2012 postseason: 4 wins to 0 losses, 11 TDs to 0 Picks, 117 passer rating. The guy was nails.
Post his stats from everything outside of that 2012 run......and tell me how have no idea what I'm talking about lol.

Being a champion in your sport does not mean you are better. You're getting it twisted on purpose.

But yes, Nate tells them to kiss his ring. They can have their gold jacket, but not Natels ring.
Nate can tell one of the best QB's of all time to kiss the ring because he sat on the bench and got a ring lol?

Sure he can. HE HAS A RING. Just because you don't believe he should have one doesn't change anything.

Dan can tell him to iron his jacket too if he wants.

And since you asked: led his team to the post season 6 out of 7 seasons during one stretch, 10 wins vs 5 losses, 25 TDs to 10 Picks, 1 Super Bowl. Just stop now, in this case you just don't know what you are talking about.

Oh - and was NEVER one and done in any of those playoff years. The idea that Dak is in Flacco's category is laughable. Flacco is a PROVEN WINNER.

Like I said earlier..this is revisionist crap. Yes, his SB run was magical. But it was proven to be luck in the end. All of his other post season runs were nothing like that. He lost his job to Lamar. You guys can try and sell crap to someone who will buy it but I'm not that guy lol.

Exactly. To the Dakazoids EVERYTHING BUT the post season is what counts! To everyone else, the post season is ALL THAT COUNTS.
I told you to post his other post season runs....Flacco sucks I don't give a damn what you are or other profile on this site says. He stinks.

Dak hasn't shown that he's reached the next level in his QB progression. Early on, his mobility was a big asset to compensate for his lack/limitations of passing ability.
Now, he doesn't display that same zeal to use his running ability, mainly due to his hesitation from injuries and his seeming want to prove that he is a legitimate passer.
He is still a quality QB but he has yet to show he is a Force Multiplier as a QB. FM's elevate their team and overcome player limitations. He hasn't shown that ability and now we are stuck paying him as a top QB and we may not see him reach that FM level. I think the struggles by his Oline have taken a toll and he doesn't seem as confident and that affects his accuracy.
He seems to gain a lot of his stats during garbage time after the team has fallen behind by double digits. He teases a comeback but seems to come up short more times than not.

The first 5 games of the season he was commanding the offense. Then he got hurt, then Denver happened. He hasn't looked the same since. He did have a couple outliers but it wasn't consistent when we needed him.

However, he was reading the field and making progressions remarkably well before then. If we can threaten a running game I think he can find his way back. Crazy thing is he was supposed to start off rusty and finish strong. We saw the opposite. He's a year removed; hopefully, he runs more next season.

It may be tough for Dak to reach the next level with the current state of the OL, running game and our receiving corp. He’s lost two real good WRs and Zeke is on the decline. We haven’t done anything to make him or the team better.

So we know this year when he does it again he'll slump later in the year

I gave you his overall post season record. 10 and 5. If 10 and 5 with a super bowl and never once in 6 post seasons going one and done 'sucks', I don't know what to tell you. And god help you when you realize Dak's post season record!

By the way...what exactly do you think the phrase 'revisionist crap' means? Because it seems like you think it refers to someone citing indisputable facts that occurred over a 7 YEAR period.

What I learned last season was it doesn't matter how good we are until about December. The rest is window dressing and false hope, until proven otherwise.

Hard to believe beating bad teams by 30 doesn't translate to being any better against good teams. We didn't just win the games we were supposed to, we destroyed those teams. Unfortunately the moment someone hit us back we fell apart.
