Jones said this week his deadline
for moving on from Romo is not until training camp starts (late July/early August). Perhaps there is some impatience growing from Romo’s end. There
have been a couple of leaks recently about his discontent with the Cowboys franchise.
If people have the right read on the situation,
Jones and his false piety are firebombing bridges with a quarterback who’s bled silver and blue for a decade and should be considered a Cowboy for life, all because it might get his team the 180th pick in the draft. It’s almost as if
Jones is nudging Romo toward retirement and the announcing booth, a kind of “If I can’t have him, you can’t either.”
guess it worked !

According to an NFL Network report, Romo was hurt over the “Team Dak” that formed in Dallas and “has distanced himself” from the teammates and coach who backed his successor.
