How many bad contracts do we have left?

Everyone can get in on this one, even the Dak haters.

Jaylon Smith.....................Gone!
Cooper..............................Gone!
Collins...............................Gone!

To me we still have the worst one on the books and that is Zeke. The mild extension makes Lawrence contract much more agreeable. Doesnt it average like 14 million per year now or something like that?

On an note for the Dak haters I believe Dak is already moving down the list for QB's and is now the 5th highest paid QB. With the Ravens QB soon to sign he should be at #6. Already in two years getting down to about where he should be as far as salary vs ranking. Laughably he might actually be a bargain in a few years. LOL

Is Tyrone Smith becoming an overpaid contract? Thoughts?

Its zeke really.

We have to at least applaud the Cowboys for that!!

In the last two years they have pretty much gotten rid of most of them. Only Zeke to go.

And if you look at this young roster who do we have coming up soon that is going to need a monster extension?

-Diggs in two years
-Parsons is 4
-Lamb in 3

Who else is really going to garner some monster deal? After we get rid of the Zeke deal the Cowboys should be in amazing shape with the cap for a few years. THAT is where I see the real window.

Schultz on a franchise tag, though it’s just one year.

What happened to Jarwin’s contract?

Yah the one year contract makes that very manageable. Now if that was some 10 million per year for 5 years deal that would be different.

Jarwin they cut also.

I thought they waived him since he is injured and since not claimed he goes back to Dallas.

Is it a bad contract if the player would make much more than that on the open market?
If Jerry signs anyone it’s a bad contract
Reality is players get much more than fans think they will get. The same fans would pay more if he came from another team

Zeke
DLaw -is $26m in 2023, but can be restructured into 2024 which will even out the expense.
Schultz - is overpaid for what he is, but he gone in 2023, so meh
Dak - at the moment he's earning his annual salary, however, in a years time he'll be top of this list if he's coming off another season like 2021 as he's due to get 21% of the CAP in 2023.

Being a Rayne critic, I’m fully confident that he has a way better chance of living up to his contract than Zeke does……I wouldn’t have though that 2 years ago.

Dakota is more serious about performing on the field than Zeke , which is a shame because Zekes talent level is undeniable…..he just doesn’t care about playing up to his potential

Collins' contract was not that bad really. The bad contracts were/are Zeke, Dak, Lawrence and Cooper. Cooper's was the least problematic. They could have restructured him if they wanted to. The worst is Zeke's and after that Dak's. The gave Lawrence a new contract making his deal reasonable.

They DO actually act like they've won something really special, like a divisional round playoff game since they've been here.....now don't they??

2022 is year seven for the BFFs.

Never seen anything like it. Dak was telling Brady after the first game that he would see him in the playoffs. These guys act like they have won something.

They all kinda do in Dallas, don't they?

They take initiative from somewhere.

When the owner of the damned team calls a first round pick about what number they will wear.......clearly winning is #1.
