How many bad contracts do we have left?

Zuerlein Gone
Jarwin (soon to be) Gone

Big contracts don't necessarily mean Bad Contracts.
Speaking of worst contracts in the league, Ezekiel Elliot… come on down!

Zeke is (by far) the highest-paid running back in the league in 2022 at $18.2M, making $3M more than Derrick Henry. He’s also the fifth-highest-paid player in his team. He's gone next season no doubt.

Everyone can get in on this one, even the Dak haters.

Jaylon Smith.....................Gone!
Cooper..............................Gone!
Collins...............................Gone!

To me we still have the worst one on the books and that is Zeke. The mild extension makes Lawrence contract much more agreeable. Doesnt it average like 14 million per year now or something like that?

On an note for the Dak haters I believe Dak is already moving down the list for QB's and is now the 5th highest paid QB. With the Ravens QB soon to sign he should be at #6. Already in two years getting down to about where he should be as far as salary vs ranking. Laughably he might actually be a bargain in a few years. LOL

Is Tyrone Smith becoming an overpaid contract? Thoughts?

1. Prescott
2. DFlaw
3. Zeke
4. Schultz
5. Tyron

They all kinda do in Dallas, don't they?

They take initiative from somewhere.

When the owner of the damned team calls a first round pick about what number they will wear.......clearly winning is #1.

Oh yah, its clearly the country club atmosphere. A few nice wins and they are top of the world.

Zeke will be gone next year, so yea Dak will be the questionable one, but if he plays like the first half of last year, then the contract is tolerable.

Jerry isn’t afraid to splash the cash & give out big contracts, & that’s not always a bad thing. For example, Zach Martin has a cap hit of $21.1 million while Tyron Smith is at $17.5M, La’el Collins checks in at $15.2M in 2022.

According to PFF, the Cowboys’ offensive line was the No. 1-ranked unit in the NFL last season, w/those three players, specifically, graded at an impressive 94.2, 91.9, & 84.0, respectively. That’s production worth paying for, so Jones gets credit for that. But many fans have so much hate for the man, they only point out his flaws while over looking his progress. "Jerry's cheap " etc.... PLEEZ

Kinda under ther the radar but we need to draft a RB this year and don't be suprised if it relatively high. It will send a message to Zeke and it will protect us moving forward.

And if you look at this young roster who do we have coming up soon that is going to need a monster extension?

-Diggs in two years
-Parsons is 4
-Lamb in 3

Diggs next year, Parsons in 2, I'm not sure if they want to extend Lamb quite yet. Teams do not wait until players they want to keep play out their entire contract. Diggs after this year, Parsons in 2, 100%.

Did you hear something about Lamar Jackson getting a contract?

I’m betting they bring Zeke back on a more favorable contract. He’ll be a prime candidate for a “pay cut.”

And anything they pay Rowdy is too much.....they should cut his arse so he can go back and join his twin brother Bob's Big Boy......or maybe it will wipe his stupid grin off his face for awhile.

Cracking up lol lol lol

I thought that was just a guy wearing a costume.

You think he'll take a 90% pay cut?

They won’t ask him to take that. He’ll be cuttable and worth more to Dallas than he will get on the open market but not what his current contract pays him. I do think Zeke will have a choice to make.

It doesn’t matter where Dak falls to with his ranking/salary. He will still be overpaid. None of these QBs are worth the salaries that they are being paid. A QB that can not win against the better teams in the league shouldn’t cost much. Go back and watch the 49ers game to refresh your memory. It seems like many of you have forgot about Dak’s play since it has been a few months.

We lost in the first round of the playoffs because we cannot stop the run. Since it's been that way since around 2010, what progress you referring to?

Sadly the cowboys do. Don’t forget first rounders are 5 years.

How many qbs have winning records against winning teams? Show me the list.

But agreed no qb is worth what they are paid. But I won’t argue with a guy that still hasn’t figured out it’s a team game.
