Pffft….is that all you got ? Taco ? I’ll call your Taco and raise you a Jaylon Smith ! And an LVE…and a Sean Lee…just a few of the examples where Jerry ignored the medical flags everybody else on the planet saw. Keep sniffing Jerry’s jock.
Reading.... ugh, its so hard.

I am not trying to argue. I am just seeing where your head is at. This is a forum where Cowboys fans post. I actually respect peoples opinions because that is all that it is. It just troubles me that you get angry at a simple question. Oh well.
I never once said how I thought or felt. I was just expressing by belief that the NFL will suspend him.

Why did you post that presumptuous response?

Within two years we're going to read that Joseph was shot dead outside of a nightclub at 2 am by two unknown assailants.
I hope not. We don't need more tragedy. I hope KJ gets his life together so this very thing doesn't happen.

I don't think that Joseph will play a snap in 2022. He will either be on the commissioner's exempt list or suspended. The Cowboys decision making in his future may be done for them in the short term. Long term? Who knows what they will do? Jerry Jones is like Father Flanagan with players. The one thing to wonder is how the Cowboys found out - if they found out from the media, and not directly from Joseph, that could be problematic for his future with the team, above and beyond any possible crime in this matter.

He wasn't clampin down on anyone. You're a complete joke, dude.
3-4?

Horn, Surtain,stokes,Newsome,

He didn't outperform any of them tape or measurable wise. No sir. And both Adebo and Asante ran 4.45 ish so it's not like they ran 4.57 or something. We took the wrong dude. It is what it is
J Horn went top 10. KJ was the 3-4th best corner if you went by measurables and tape. ASJ had phenomenal tape tho but measurables werent as good

Kelvin Joseph fared better than any other college CB against the WR picked #10 overall in the same draft (DeVonta Smith).

Joseph had the fastest 40, 20 and 10 yards times of all the CBs referenced.

Most elite CBs have 20 yards times below 2.60 seconds.
- Even many All-Pro type CBs that had slow-ish forty times (Richard Sherman, Joe Haden, etc..) had 20 yards times below 2.60 seconds.
- Joseph is the only one on this list with a 20 yard time below 2.5 and a 10 yard time below 1.5 seconds.

Uber elite CBs have tended to have sub 20 yards time below 2.50 and 10 yards times below 1.50 (Revis, Deion, etc.).

Kelvin Joseph
40 Yrd Dash: 4.35
20 Yrd Dash: 2.48
10 Yrd Dash: 1.44

Paulson Adebo
40 Yrd Dash: 4.45
20 Yrd Dash: 2.60
10 Yrd Dash: 1.57

Patrick Surtain
40 Yrd Dash: 4.42
20 Yrd Dash: 2.60
10 Yrd Dash: 1.57

Asante Samuel Jr.
40 Yrd Dash: 4.41
20 Yrd Dash: 2.56
10 Yrd Dash: 1.50

Jaycee Horn
40 Yrd Dash: 4.40
20 Yrd Dash: 2.60
10 Yrd Dash: 1.55

Greg Newsome
40 Yrd Dash: 4.39
20 Yrd Dash: 2.53
10 Yrd Dash: 1.50

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there a report that stated the Cowboys were blindsided by this?

All that and he is still not being charged while the police have charged people and are moving on stating they believed he was not the shooter..

Add in that the Cowboys knew well before the police did and there is writing on the wall. It's just not what you are hoping for.

YEah, these things have worked out so well for the Cowboys when they have coddled players in the Jerry Jones era. Gregory, McClain, Quincy, et al.

Was Joseph's tape better than Stokes, Horn and Surtain? Yes or no.

In 2021 with the Cowboys, literally the only negative with Kelvin Joseph was his injury.

He allowed -2 yards receiving and zero catches beyond the line of scrimmage in his 1st NFL start.

As soon as he was back from injury, he became a core special teams player which indicates he was coachable and willing to do the dirty work.
- Many CBs, even mid/late round picks often don't become significant special teams contributors.

A rookie CB that missed a significant amount of training camp / preseason and the first 6 games of the season was not going to start on the Cowboys defense.
- The Cowboys had 3 starting CBs on the roster. It was unlikely for a rookie 2nd round pick to beat them out in 2021 even if not injured.

Kelvin Joseph had top notch speed and game footage.
- He opted out at the last 2 games at Kentucky during the Covid season which some considered a questionable decision.
- He made some rap videos during his college years.
- He was never in legal trouble during college.
- He was available in the 2nd round because he was dismissed from LSU and transferred to Kentucky.

- It would be absurd to say that his game footage and/or measurables didn't qualify him as being worth a 2nd round pick.
- It would also be absurd to say that he failed in 2021 with the Cowboys.

Answer my last question. I know you like to be long-winded and not answer questions. I'll address the measurables after that

Such a shame i really thought he had good momentum from last season to build on and take the outside starting job from Brown this year.

Joseph did inform the police a month later it appears. Is there a law that you have to report a crime within 48 hours?

No there is no law. Just plain human decency.

If we end up living in a society where human life is so meaningless it is a troubling world. We hope the best for anyone in our sphere - sports figures, work colleagues, family members, friends and neighbours.

For me personally it would change my impression of KJ if I knew him personally, and he did admit to not reporting the incident for days or weeks.

I am part of the society that states that our social contract requires that crimes be exposed. Turning a blind eye away from that type of stuff doesn't work for me. Especially with all the resources and protection that a person like KJ has being an NFL player.

In ancient history it would have been an eye for an eye and the shooter would be executed and that was justice. Now 4 young black men have to fry for one man's crime for you to feel justice has been done.

What would your feelings be in a situation where all the young men coerced and equipped said young man with a gun and drove him past the victim.

I am not saying this is what happened here, but culpability requires a thorough investigation. We all need to hear the facts come out.

I do expect conflicting accounts from inside the SUV. It will be the police, the lawyers and ultimately the courts to determine who has culpability in intent action that led to the death of the young man.

We all hope that KJ is not culpable in this crime, but right now nobody knows, and his being in proximity of the fight, the shooting and in the vehicle is not a good thing.

What will he be suspended for? If he is telling the truth, he is an innocent bystander that happens to be friends with two killers. So you saying he will be suspended for hanging out with murderers?
There was the fight beforehand, then he stayed with the same crew and they shot a man. Do you really believe he won't be suspended at the very least?

The fact KJ met with police and wasnt booked on a single charge while 2 other men were charged and arrested should tell you. If they were gonna charge him it would have happened. This aint the movies.
