3-4?
Horn, Surtain,stokes,Newsome,
He didn't outperform any of them tape or measurable wise. No sir. And both Adebo and Asante ran 4.45 ish so it's not like they ran 4.57 or something. We took the wrong dude. It is what it is
He wasn't clampin down on anyone. You're a complete joke, dude.
J Horn went top 10. KJ was the 3-4th best corner if you went by measurables and tape. ASJ had phenomenal tape tho but measurables werent as good
In 2021 with the Cowboys, literally the only negative with Kelvin Joseph was his injury.
He allowed -2 yards receiving and zero catches beyond the line of scrimmage in his 1st NFL start.
As soon as he was back from injury, he became a core special teams player which indicates he was coachable and willing to do the dirty work.
- Many CBs, even mid/late round picks often don't become significant special teams contributors.
A rookie CB that missed a significant amount of training camp / preseason and the first 6 games of the season was not going to start on the Cowboys defense.
- The Cowboys had 3 starting CBs on the roster. It was unlikely for a rookie 2nd round pick to beat them out in 2021 even if not injured.
Kelvin Joseph had top notch speed and game footage.
- He opted out at the last 2 games at Kentucky during the Covid season which some considered a questionable decision.
- He made some rap videos during his college years.
- He was never in legal trouble during college.
- He was available in the 2nd round because he was dismissed from LSU and transferred to Kentucky.
- It would be absurd to say that his game footage and/or measurables didn't qualify him as being worth a 2nd round pick.
- It would also be absurd to say that he failed in 2021 with the Cowboys.
