We wouldn’t even ever use him as a RB, probably would be a CeeDee level disappointment right now.Deebo would be both our best WR and our best RB.

True.We wouldn’t even ever use him as a RB, probably would be a CeeDee level disappointment right now.
I think if you can stick in the NFL for 2-3 years , vet minimum will be over a million, I ThinkCan I just get a million from someone? Sheesh.
Only was to solve all this is to return to the rules of the NFL circa 1990Brown, Samuel and McLaurin are all wanting new deals and planning to not report to camp.
Deebo has said he wants around $25 million per year, maybe more now. I'm sure the others won't be far behind.
Is this going to be the new norm for top WR around the league? Adams and Hill are already around $30 million per. Hopkins and Diggs aren't that far behind.
If Ceedee has a big year, I'm sure he's gonna be going for the same.
Not sure how teams are gonna work around the cap when you could have $60-70 million tied up in QB/WR
Sure glad we traded that easily restructured contract of Coopers for such value and all that cap savings we've used.
dont truly care what others make but those wrs at 30 have all had ELITE years and ill welcome a CeeDEE year with 1500 yards and 15tds a dez like run over 2-3 years and he demands to get paid, why not.. what does Coopper kupp make hes the opnly one of those next up AWRS who can demand 28-30 mil i mean first triple crown wr and on SB winning team..Brown, Samuel and McLaurin are all wanting new deals and planning to not report to camp.

No they didn't they, paid coop 20 mil but cut him when his production and his availability and sometimes he disappears they got tired of it let him goThe Cowboys made it clear when they gave Cooper away for virtually nothing that they’re not going to pay big money for a WR. If Michael Gallup misses the first few games of the regular season and doesn’t return to form when he does come back and CeeDee isn’t as effective as a number one receiver or gets injured, the 2022 season could resemble the disaster we had the first half of the 2018 season before we traded for Amari. The Cowboys are taking a big gamble heading into the 202 to season minus three of their top four receivers from last season if Gallup doesn’t deed miss the first few games. This does bring in the possibility of using our top pick on a WR if the Cowboys are nervous about their WR position.

jerry will pay lamb big even if he is just avg.No they didn't they, paid coop 20 mil but cut him when his production and his availability and sometimes he disappears they got tired of it let him go
they pad Dez, they paid Coop, and if Lamb goes off into an elite b2b years they will pay him , not Cooper like numbers those are expected from a starter very average but far from elite production,. they will pay him..now Lamb will have to go off likely b2b years with 1400-1500 yards and 12-15 tds that better then anything coop did and yes they would pay him..
what does Kupp make hes next up..
no he wont i think he at least realizes hes not a 26-30 guy with copper type number's..Lmab will need Dez like output, elite dez.. he would have simply kept coop...jerry will pay lamb big even if he is just avg.
I do not want to see the Cowboys enter into this sweepstakes. There are more talented players in that WR body type and skillset coming into the league every year than pretty much any other position. The college football world is full of guys who are between 5'10" and 6'3" 185-220 pounds who can run like the wind and catch the ball. Since they all start playing 7 on 7 tournaments when they're 10 years old they are coming into the league better prepared than ever to contribute from day one. Overpaying for a WR is almost as dumb as overpaying for a RB. Unless you know a guy is off the charts "special" and perhaps more importantly, you know your OC is going to use him, it makes no sense to invest heavily in that position.

And …. The guys on rookie contracts should be given extensions, not new contracts. Make them take a contract that improves their pay and helps the team or let them sit out during camp. You fine them every day. They will return when the season arrives. To truly sit out will help them in no way, and even coming back for the first game is likely to hurt their performance and any new contract. Owners need to stop rolling over to guys under contract.
Cowboys should draft Treylon Burks this year to hedge their bet against a Lamb holdout next offseason.
