I could tell you stories about Pacman Jones, my RIP father custom made his 24kt gold wheels back in the day.
Met him, and my father and I both agreed that the man was a real jerk.

Back in the 90’s if Dallas lost my whole week was shot.. I couldn’t sleep a the night of loss. I would avoid all sports related entertainment. Radio, TV and print. Now I’m older and wiser. I look at it a Pure Entertainment. I’m less emotionally invested in it. Sort of like WWE wresting. Story lines, ups and downs twist and turns. The minute I’m not entertained I won’t switch fandom to another team. I’ll just stop looking at the accident as I drive bye . .. til then I’ll take my son to Dallas once a year to see a game. He’s 25 and a Dallas fan. Has never seen his favorite team win anything. But as long as we can bond. Have a beer and be entertained. I’ll be there once a year.

If not for the Zone, I doubt I would really follow the team any longer. This site is far more important to me than the team. I don't really know anyone on the team.

It wouldn't surprise me that you fundamentally have a better level of enjoyment now that the sport is placed in the "entertainment" category as opposed to the "this is going to ruin my week" category.
