I think folks look at the penalties and the fact that he needs a lot of work to be a quality Tackle in the league. I think the transition to Guard is an easier one especially considering his skill set.

You think Joe Philbin is better? Philbin sucks. Couldn't even coach this Oline the past 2 seasons. This is going to turn into a total disaster. Another Taco Charlton horribly overdrafted peewee league move where you prove once again you don't know what in the hell you are doing, much less owning and running an NFL team.

You feel good about a DE rotation of Lawrence, Fowler, Armstrong and Golston? It’s so shoddy they will have to play their best LB at DE again just to get any pass rush.

You go Johnson 1st and OG in the 2nd. Lots of really good Guards still available in Round 2 that are likely better than Smith.

I don't really know what's up with the Cowboys FO when it comes to the draft. Some times we just knock it out of the park like the Dak and Zeke draft or the Ceedee Lamb and Diggs draft. Other times I'm scratching my head like the Trysten Hill, Taco Charleston and even LVE drafts. Are they throwing dice and whoever wins gets to pick or is McClay bipolar and this is an off year?

The second rounders are usually Jerry project picks and given how we started this draft off, I'm expecting someone with drug or behaviorial problems or some injury.

You can't coach up Williams' ailments he was physically incapable of handling a straight bull rush. Being overpowered was the direct cause of 90% of his grabbing

I don’t think Dean just automatically starts either. Again, we play a lot of nickel and I suspect Parsons and LVE eat up a lot of those snaps and they seem to love Cox assuming he is healthy.

If LVE plays like he did last year? I can’t imagine Dean not being able to take him off the field but I also like the ability of playing Parsons all over the field and not just at linebacker.
