My hope is someone has Jerrys ear and he does whats right. I'm not betting on it. If he does I betcha he puts 2 guys in on the same day, just 2 overshadow Jimmy instead of letting Jimmy have his day. I can see this.
I can see a lot of the old timers getting in Jerry's ear about this. Moose, Troy , Emmitt ect.
They all know how important Jimmy was to those SBs.

Irvin has a close relationship with Jerry and we all know he loves Jimmy.
Jimmy and Irvin are Kindred spirits. Actually, at 1 time Jerry,Jimmy and Michael were all 3 alike. Thats why it meshed so well. Jerry lost himself in his own desire 2 be King. Thats how we got where we are today.

I doubt Jimmy gets in until Jerry dies and maybe not even then. That's OK though, Any real Dallas fan knows he should be and it just shows how petty Dumb and Dumber can be.

What really irks me is Jerry being a Judas, basically lying on live TV about putting Jimmy in, while getting Jimmy emotional and teary eyed. That makes this very bad. He looked Jimmy in the eye and lied.At least, this is the perception by the fans etc. He can fix this in a heartbeat.

Jerry has always been king with everything he’s done. He’s always been up there and everyone else has been below him. When Jimmy got angry about Jerry bringing a prince into the locker room to meet the players immediately after a game before Jimmy had a chance to address the team, Jerry told him that he’s the owner and Jimmy is the coach. Jerry doesn’t like anyone above him but I don’t think Jimmy does either, at least when it comes to football. He wanted Jerry sticking to the business side. The more success the Cowboys had the more Jerry wanted to do things his way and that created a lot of friction between him and Jimmy.

Mike Fisher actually defended Jerry. He said "Jerry never said when he would put him in." Talk about gross spin doctoring by a team reporter. YIKES!

Jerry is not dragging his feet,..It's not by accident, Jerry likely has it all planned out , as Jerry is gonna make sure so long as he is still alive that Jimmie does not get into "Jerry's" Ring of Honor.
Everyone knows it's personal.
I'm awaiting to see when Deion Sanders will be in Jerry's Ring of Honor. Any favorable all star players under Jerry's regime, has the best chance of being anointed in his " ROH'.

Frankly i think the ROH should be dedicated to original " grass roots" Cowboys players. Players who originated as Cowboys players- players that started out as
a Cowboy and delivered a long time, long term stellar, all star career as a Cowboy. That's just IMO.

It's no argument, Jimmie obviously played a very huge part in being a nucleus core responsible for an NFL Dynasty stretch , such that he was responsible for even the 3rd SB under the Jerry regime.
(not Switzer)

in his mind he may be considering putting Switzer in INSTEAD of Jimmy. Thats the twisted mind of Jerry. Aikman never forgave Jerry for hiring Barry and letting Jimmy walk. BUT I hear Jimmy wanted 2 walk like 2 years before that. MAYBE Jimmy would have stepped down no matter. We will never know.

I don’t even think it’s that. I think he’s just dragging his foot. At the end of the day Jerry’s accomplishments are because of him hiring him. So any credit Jimmy gets…Jerry gets. I’m sure Jerrry may not see it that way…..
That may the problem. Jerry may want to wait until he gets a SB without Jimmy before he puts his name up there.

I don't expect Prime Time to ever be in the RoH. He was a Merc, and he's not a Cowboy.

Jerry is secretly hoping that his team can win a SB. Then the following season induct Jimmy. Making it about him as he puts Jimmy in the ROH..."Coming off of our SB season, it is only right to induct Jimmy Johnson, who contributed to two of our 6 Super Bowl teams..."

My feeling is, the way Jerry is dragging his feet, Jimmy may not get in until he is deceased. Just a gut feel I have. It saddens me. I see Jerry inducting Ware or someone else before Jimmy. I hope I am wrong. Who do you guys think gets in first, Jimmy? Ware? Or a wildcard player? Jimmy deserves better from Jerry. Its an ugly look not having him there. Give me your thoughts. I been stewing on this for a while and it just bothers me the way this has been mismanaged by Jerry.
Jimmy quit on us....I don't care if he ever gets in....he thought he was bigger than his title....

I think Charles Haley getting in was an ef you to Jimmy. Jimmy deserves to be in but Jerry’s pattern doesn’t show it is happening.

I don’t think Ware deserves it, to stick with the title, but since he is a Jerry pick he probably gets in.

Jimmy didn't put his life savings on the line....he had a contract and was gonna get paid....Jerry risked it all....Jimmy got cocky and didn't know his place.....
I agree... somewhat. Jimmy was definitely the catalyst for the SB runs, but it wouldn't have killed him to give Jerry some credit and at least show him the respect an employee gives to his employer.

Not only that, but Jerry didn't chase him away. He was never planning on staying long term anyway. Maybe he left a year or two sooner than planned, but he was going anyway.
