Dead honest….Quinn and Moore are not HC material. They will always be better suited to be coordinators. I think someone makes Moore a HC before we do. If we do then Jerry is even dumber than I thiought…bar is not high.
Also very few oc's or dc's make good HC's
just because they do good in that one area doesnt make them a good HC , which requires a different set of skills.

personally I think the shine is off Moore. Im not throwing rocks at him he had the #1 offensive for sometime and all OC’s make boned headed calls but he no longer walks the sidelines as heir apparent ,in my view
It’s funny watching some of these fans try to analyze football, Moore and the offense.

the best is when they admit that the oline went in the toilet, zeke got hurt, Dak got hurt, cooper missed time with Covid, the oline became a penalty machine and then they blame the guy that still had the #1 scoring offense in football.

now Moore certainly hit a wall, but the amount of poor analysis is funny to watch.

Prescott never gets the blame from the front office. The Cowboys will not be reaching the Superbowl or anything important any time soon so it comes down to how much patience the front office have and when they decide to make Moore another scapegoat to protect Prescott from any criticism/blame.

And why would they blame Prescott? Only fools with an agenda do that.

the #1 scoring offense in football. that is just stats, defense scored some or set up some scores.
I would ask why the oline went in the toilet and had so many penaltys?
Injuries happen, I am sure the rams dealt with injuries and penaltys.

Kellen wants to run his offense, instead of looking at what he has, in players, and designing a offense for those guys especially dak.

and remember roy not everyone here is as smart as you ! lol

Just stats eh? Yah, who needs em!!! LOL

Rams didnt have penalties like the Cowboys. Cowboys led the NFL.

Whatever injuries they had, they dealt with them better then our coaches.

I think people forget what Garrett's offense looked like. Moore deserves some criticism, but the majority of the fault goes to the Oline and the run game. Although Moore was clearly apart of not benching Zeke and not playing Pollard more.

This is his last year as being an OC for the Cowboys.

If Mike does bad, I think the job can be given to either Quinn or Moore depending on which side is having the better year.

If the team does well, there is no chance Moore is going to be with the Cowboys next year because his stock as a hc will be high with other teams.

He will leave next season if the Cowboys reach the NFC championship game. McCarthy will stay.

He will stay next season if the Cowboys have double digit wins but fail in the playoffs. So will McCarthy.

Otherwise, they will both be gone at the end of the season.

If he does good, jerry would best any offer to keep him, also including control maybe
If kellen was to leave then mike would be kept.
I dont think payton or dan is gonna want the job. Dan might, but might not.

jerry wont let him go, if he does well, he will best any offer from another team. No way he lets him go.
Now if kellen doesnt want to stay with jerry then yeah he might leave for another team where things are more normal.
jerry might even give up some control, but then later take it back lol.
He let mike hire his own staff, but then forced fired his DC, and hired dan which was a good move. But it seems like he just took control back.

Jerry can't offer Kellen the head coaching job if they have double digit wins. He can't push McCarthy out and keep Kellen, there would be no justification.

Jerry can't top an offer to be a Head Coach for a franchise that actually let's you become a Head Coach.

Wish Moore took the Boise job. Can't take much of his play calling any longer.

he should have taken it, but jerry talked him into staying here.
if someone else wants what jerry has, he will go all out to not let that happen.

Well jerry might surprise you lol. He might give kellen control, and see what happens, if he doesnt like it he will take control back lol.

I think Kellen gets a pass on last years wc fiasco, and he will be OC for next 2-3 years regardless
of results.
After that I figure Jerry and his boy aka the jones boys, make him HC, probably for a 10 year period.
Again no matter results, 10 years !

I think they are going to try and make a HC out of him like they did with JG.

I dont think payton would come here, and if he did would he take Kellen as OC?? LOL I dont think so,
payton likes to run his own offense and call plays.

Would Dan Quinn take the HC job? would he take Kellen as OC? Both are possible, but I doubt
dan would want to be saddled with a independent OC as mike agreed to.
It just isnt a good setup.
So if Dan wants to be HC , I figure he waits for a job he wants that is a good situation, and he will
stay here as DC until that comes into play.

So it is kellen and kellen, and more of kellen lol. King of stats, but not much good in the playoffs.
JG 2.0 is what dallas fans will get.
I would have fired both mike and kellen after that WC game, but thats just me, jerry I think just
put all the blame on amari lol and still likes the rest of his guys.
edit well guess he blamed lael and connor too, and he got rid of all 3 , got a # 5 for all 3 ,pretty
smooth !
Kellen isn't a bad OC considering with what he has to work with.................... If the Boys don't go DEEP this year, Dakota has to go!

I think the best thing Kellen could do for himself is to get as far from the Cowboys as possible.

If he remains the Cowboys OC he will be blamed for a 4th round QBs lack of talent the same way Linehan was before him and the same way the next guy will be after him.

If he becomes the HC then then he will have to deal with Jerry and Stephen meddling in everything.

It's a lose/lose for any Cowboys coach.
Where's he going?.......he takes the HC Interview Tour every year......and still in the same place.

..this is big year for Moore and MM. If Dallas $hits the bed, I only see Quinn staying. On other hand, a good year meaning deep playoff run. Likely, all coming back.

...just friendly speculation...;)..

I mean he gets a "pass" because the Cowboys offense was ranked 1 in the NFL. They were also ranked 2 in the NFL in 2019 and before Dak went down were rank 1 in 2020. That gets you more than a pass and in fact gets you a raise.

That number one offense was only because his offense beat up on terrible teams. When it went up against teams that were any good, his offense suddenly got pathetic. OC's should be graded and judged on those games and not because they can call a game that runs up the yards and scores against pathetic teams.
