Both teams were 12 and 5 last year. They have a cap expert whose job depends on results.
We've got Jerry's son, no matter the results.![]()

Yes one barely beat the Bengals and the other lost to the 49ers by 6 points. One won the Super Bowl, the other choked at home in the WC round.
But enjoy wearing that NFC East Division Champions t-shirt proudly.
Being able to re-sign their own (Stafford, Donald and Kupp) plus supplement the team's talent with a big name/big money free agent (Wagner) is very commendable. Les Snead has a had a great offseason...again.
The fact that the Rams are also willing to make trades in-season to bolster their roster is also commendable.
It’s really sad our Homers are so desperate to compare our 12-6 season to Rams 16-5 season. One won the Super Bowl, the other choked at home in the WC round.

I love the Cowboys. They are a good team and last year was an exciting season for those that like the team and the game of football. A lot to look forward to going forward. One won the Super Bowl, the other choked at home in the WC round.

lol. do you have a calculator? It’s really sad our Homers are so desperate to compare our 12-6 season to Rams 16-5 season.

LOL!
You’d think Jethro would see what the Rams and Bucs did last 2 years and roll the dice with some bold moves to bolster our roster to win now.Les Snead's dad doesn't own the team, so he has to prove himself and produce results. It seems to be a motivator.
Kupp is in his last year coming off of one of the most productive seasons ever by a WR.
This will lower his cap charge of 18 mill this year...not worth all of the hand wringing i see in this thread.

Afterall this is why he says he must be the GM cause no one else is in position to take the risk necessary to win.
Egomaniac narcissistic like him think they’re going to live forever. Not to mention he's almost 80 years old. Seems to me I'd be on a short-term "go for it" strategy. What's a few more regular season wins if you flop in the playoffs?

Jethro has tried bold moves in the past. They have consistently failed due to very poor player evaluations. You’d think Jethro would see what the Rams and Bucs did last 2 years and roll the dice with some bold moves to bolster our roster to win now.

He's in the HOF, he makes billions and he has no need to compete. All this salary cap stuff is just an excuse by the Jones to placate the fans. As long as the Jones family makes money they are fine with no super bowls. They win the Forbes super bowl every year and that validates them as football guys, not the product on the field. The wildcatter died. The new Jerry doesn't take risks on free agents except his own.
