Serious Question: Is Dak better now than Romo in his prime?

NFCE wasn't the worst division, we just piss pounded the East more than the rest of the NFL.
How is that some kind of point to trash the current, No. 1 ranked offense?
If Dallas played in that division and replaces Seattle they would be the worst team in the division. That #1 offense wouldn't be putting up those numbers.

Guess who had more passing yards last season: Dallas or LA Rams?
Guess who had more TDs?

Daks first half of 2021 through the NE game is as good of QB play as we’ve ever seen. Unfortunately the rest of his career has only been seeing good stats against bad teams.

My boy @Ken brought out the receipts. The romosexuals bout to be salty!!! Lol.

I mean Dak is a better qb than romo just with how Dak takes care of the ball over romo. Dak is all around better. Good post
I mean the team has a better record with dak at qb too.
2016 was the start of the decline of Dez. Dez didnt even play the first 3 games of that season
I mean Romo literally had the same offensive line in 14. a healther and younger dez and Witten and a guy in murray who was every bit as good if not better than zeke. most of these guys whining are just salty romorooters. They will complain about the defense for Romo but blame dak under same circumstances. complain about the line for Romo but blame Dak when we have seen the line erode. I mean conner william and tyler B have been pushed into daks lap far to often and Tyron well his absence from lineup has been talked about at nauseum.

Im not hitched to the Dak wagon if they brought in a replacement i wouldnt lose sleep.(they wont btw) but to say romo was this godsend that got shafted (paraphrasing) is ridiculous. the only edge I give Romo is he had better accuracy at times but the flipside is he was to accurate giving the ball to the other team at the wrong times. and he was ALSO overpaid.

Dak and Romo both beat Staubach and Aikman if you compare those same numbers.

Your "boy" Ken avoided the question, but maybe you won't.

Do you believe Dak and Romo are better than Aikman and Staubach?

Really because in 2015 that ready made team went 4 and 12 on the season. The following season Dak starts the season and they go 13-3.
Dak was 19th is passing yards (right behind Wentz), 16 in passing TDs (tied with Blake Bortles:lmao:), and 24th in yards per game (right behind Miami Dolphins version Ryan Tennenhill).....

Zeke was 1st in rushing yards (by over THREE HUNDRED YARD), 3rd in rushing TDs, and 1st in yards per game....

The Cowboys had THREE, yes THREE, 1st team all-pro linemen...

Yeah, but rookie Dak, NOT rookie Zeke was the catalyst in 2016, right? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

When Dak's career is over we will see.

As of right now he certainly is not better.

Romo was a gunslinger and Dak is not; that is the biggest difference between the two as regards how they play QB.

With Romo it was more risk/reward with Dak its more steady but at the same time you are not going to see games where he really does incredible or terrible.

Both were/are cursed by suffering under JG; and both are/were cursed with the Jones boys running the team.

He was good until he wasn't.

We're going to get the number one pick for a stud QB after this season. Unfortunately Jethro is going to send it to New Orleans for Sean Peyton.

You give Romo the talent Dak's had for the past 6 years and we have more than 1 Wild Card win to show for it.
Romo had that talent in 2007 and in 2014. What happened?

Football is a TEAM sport. When one side of the ball doesnt pull their weight it doesnt matter what the other side does.

You could put Brady on this team. IT doesnt matter. The problem isnt on the field. Its the culture Tweedle dee and his son have created. No accountability, no fear, end arounding the coach and going right to the owner etc. There is no fix for this except a culture change and that wont happen with the Jones boys in charge.

Why are you all so easy to get butt hurt when people criticize Dak, but have no issue at all burying the QB that was there before him?

They both aren't good enough, ya'll are some real hypocrites about it though.

As for your horrible Tom Brady take.....You put Tom Brady on this team and we would win. Ya'll use the "it's not on the field" excuse as a way to defend players that aren't good enough. Ya'll do that because you can't fathom that your favorite players may just not be good enough, so you try to justify them not being good by playing mental gymnastics to convince yourself that not even the GOAT could win here. The fact is Brady, Mahomes, Rodgers, Allen, and the other top QBs would do just fine here and would have more success than Romo or Dak ever could. But hey, you play whatever mental gymnastics you need to make you feel better about that.

Romo was more consistent at throwing picks, Ill give him that. Dak was a much more even keeled leader and game manager.

It's hard to compare these two quarterbacks because they were so different. Better to compare Romo to Matt Stafford. Even though I think Romo and Stafford are better, Dak has some qualities that are better.

When Dak throws a pick I'm surprised. I didn't expect that. There's no doubt he takes care of the ball better in that regard. When Tony or Matt throw a pick, I just take another shot. See if I can remain standing for the entire game. Romo takes a lot more chances and I do believe he processed the game a bit quicker. I just don't think the gap between Tony and Dak is as big as some people might believe. We see a lot of the same type seasons with both quarterbacks. That leads me to believe the problem isn't at QB.
