Here in Texas minors are allowed to drink in the presence of their parents and or legal guardians . Are they able to smoke as well?

These tobacco laws are fairly new in Texas so I’m not sure on this stipulation?
What the hell? Kids should have a cigar with a glass of whiskey. Proper protocol will be respected.

They should have brands that fit them too. Old Grandad, L’il Toddler. I like Toddler Toddies.

Of course I have no evidence, and none of us got to see any evidence because Bob's lawyers worked their magic and got a video tape removed from evidence if Im not mistaken and with no tape, no case.

Watson has a bad lawyer? Even if there was a video of Kraft getting a handy in that spa, we don't know that the girls working there are being trafficked. There are no accusations of assaulting women. Its a sad situation but for a lot of recent immigrants, that's one of the few jobs available to them.

In any case. Watson has settled out of court with over 20 women. Thats a crazy number and enough proof for the NFL to take action.

No. I believe the legal smoking age is 18.

And, minors can drink in the presence of their spouse if their spouse is of legal age.

Yeah, settling out of court might not be an admission of guilt elsewhere but after his proclamations of innocence and wanting to clear his name, this will not help him with the league.

I don't think so. Non-guilty people settling is just too common to make much of it.

Minors can drink in the presence of their parents as well.

The legal age for smoking was raised to 21 in Texas.

I agree w/ that.
Not all bars or restaurants allow minors to drink with their parents .

It must be served to the parent and they can give it to their child . And the parent must remain at the table while they are consuming.

And of course minors can drink on their property under the parents supervision. Im assuming the law is similar for smoking .

Highly doubtful. Smoking is now the antichrist.

I didn’t call anyone ignorant. I called the post ignorant of the law with those outlandish thoughts. And I stand by it.

well then you are too ignorant to understand the difference between motive and intent. If you kill someone, intent is clearly used to determine manslaughter, 1st, 2nd, 3rd degree murder. MOTIVE is not used for anything in that case, ZIP, NADA, NOTHING.... as far as punishment goes. They would use motive as a means of explaining to the jury why someone would commit such a crime. But in the case of hate crimes, the motive or reason someone committed a crime is actually used to enhance the sentence. So once again, before you call someone's knowledge on a topic showing some ignorance, you should know what the heck you are talking about.

If Jerry had done what Kraft did, you would not so be so cavalier in this little post above.

Settling a case is different than settling 20. Think anyone doubts his guilt?
No, just some blind homers. Even the Houston Texans knew he was guilty helping him cover it up according to this new lawsuit filed yesterday .

Watson is going down in this suspension . Historic judgement is forthcoming.

I tried to understand those Texas drinking laws, and I couldnt really get a straight answer on exactly how young a minor could be and still drink with a parent. Also, some places use the law and others dont. Way too much ambiguity for me.

I will say again, I do not know all of the details of the Watson case as far as exactly what he did, but... do you think his actions were worse than Michael Vick's?

First off, Im not defending Watson. What he gets I dont really care, im pointing out the hypocrisy of what happened with Kraft, which was nothing. Had it been Jerry, you think it would have gone away with NOTHING happening to him?

Cases are settled out of court all the time with no admission on the party that pays out the cash. It is simply a business decision and one in which was clearly in Watson's best interest to settle.

The question is guilt of what exactly? Clearly no crime. I think I will have to go look up some of the claims against him to get some specifics that have been reported.
