They don’t really want to discuss the pros and cons, just cheer on their guys.

This has always been a divide on our forums. Some fans are here to just cheer on our Cowboys with other fans and discuss in a more casual way.

They want it to be fun. The more serious dissections and criticism isn’t really for them. Which is fine.

Yep.............they want a fan club. This isnt a fan club. This a Cowboys football discussion forum.

We want both . Team first of course but we’d like to see all of our guys be individually recognized if they perform well.

There are other formats like thru Facebook for these Fan Club type formats. And they allow comments and real time info on the team and news.

We tried a Silver Lining forum on old Cowboys site and it was a ghost town . Perhaps we should try something similar here. Call it Fan Club forum.

Unfortunately the problem arises when there are poor or less than expected performances. And where the criticism originates.

Love the change of pace lol.

Unfortunately there are some here who say they would like the cowboys to succeed but would much rather be “right” regarding their opinions on certain players that they cheer for them to fail.

I have seen it for years. It’s actually sad.
