The lack of investment in the OL this off season has been head scratching for me.
As to the motives , I am not going to try a get into Jerry's head.

we have a HOFer at RG. we have a probowler at LG, yes, he gets injured for a few games, but he is great when he plays. they drafted a LG first round. not any centers you really would want, unless we took linderbaum and forgo drafting a guard. Steele played most of last season and did as good as collins.

so where is the not investing? yeah yeah yeah, we need to upgrade the center. but....its not a problem most of the teams don't have....now, depth and swing tackle is a concern.

with that said, IMHO, Dak is a tier 2 QB (debate about where in that tier amongst yourself), so he does need some help.

the problem is more the OL coach, and OC....

That is a weird way to spin being 7th on a list of 8 because if you were going to add in the rest of the league, in terms of JUST weapons, you could say the Bengals, Raiders, Broncos, Chargers, Eagles, Commanders, Vikings, Buccs, and 49ers are all clearly better in terms of weapons going into this season. One could also point out that a few of the teams I missed have a better OLine or comparable weapons. Basically if you were to list every single team considered in serious Super Bowl contention (except for the Ravens and Packers) they would all have better pieces around their QB than the Cowboys do and both the Ravens and Packers have a VERY strong OLine.
