Not sure how special your special players are....if the o-line is "questionable". If zeke has to sidestep at the handoff all year AGAIN...well it's 2-3 YPC again.
I hear that I'm just hoping the fact that both DAk and Zeke are both starting the year theoretically healthy makes them the special players that they are billed to be because I really don't have a lot of faith in the center of our offensive line.

I believe they're going to have to be at the top of their game to be successful with the questionable offensive line that we have at this time. And even then it's probably going to be a hard way to go

Couldn’t dispute one thing I said.

“DURRR YOUR CLUELESS ANYWAYZ”
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

NFL players, coaches, scouts and GMs ranked him outside the top 10 RBs. They’re clueless too!!!!
He was outside the top 10 RB’s last year. After game 4 anyways.

Zeke had no business playing after the injury. Should have been Pollard's show until Zeke recovered, but for whatever reason we kept using Zeke. I am not sure how much of this Moore, seems more like a Jerry move to me.

Plays like the one against AZ where he took out the DE who had beaten our tight end (again) and as well as the blitzing safety on one play are probably the reason .. They probably remembered Pollard's whiff against the Chargers that got Dak blasted or the one against Philly that had much the same result as well. Look I fully agree that Zeke should have sat until his leg healed and we would have been better off for it. We went 3-3 over the six games after his injury. I think we could have done that without him.. Hell even if we went 2-4 I think a healthy Zeke and we beat AZ to get that game back as well as being far better setup for the playoffs. I don't believe for one second that Jerry stepped in and forced them to play a guy he still owed over $30 million risking a career ending injury.. Feel free to question Jerry's football acumen all you want but no one can question his business acumen.. Risking long term injury to Zeke would have simply been a bad business decision. The coaches and trainers made that call.. no matter what keyboard experts try to tell us..

Center and Rt will be an issue and when Tyron misses games that will be an issue. I'd like to see better use of McGovern at fullback maybe Ferguson as well since he can also catch. But this team will live and die off playaction like never before and it starts with just running well.

He’s a warrior and the team loves him.

Yeah people are mad because the team rewarded him for playing through that injury and the pain that goes with it. And many of those same people can't stop whining about how many games Tank, LVE, Tyron et al miss due to injury.. Go figure people right?

I'm so tired of hearing players and coaches from this team say that we're going to and we need to run the ball more etc etc. Ok SHUT UP and make it happen!!

Just because the running game doesn't get you 20 yards each play, doesn't mean it's time to abandon it! It's time to focus heavy on the running game and be committed to it. Stop with all the talking and wishing, please give me your thoughts!!!
Fans will meltdown the first time they over-commit to the run.

The Saints game in 2019 is a great example.

Define run heavy. Pats were 5th in the NFL in rushing when they won the 18 super bowl.

Mostly passing teams have won the ones since then, but that's primarily due to those teams being the best teams. Put a QB in TENN and they'd be a super bowl contender.

Yes, agree completely. But some of these run heavy teams don't have that QB. They are counting on the run. Like Baltimore in 2019, Some 49ers teams, Colts, and Titans in 2019. They absolutely need the run to win. Put a good QB on the Titans and it's probably lights out.

I bet you already have your "glad I was wrong" speech ready.
Aren’t you the guy who tried dismissing Pollard’s superiority over Anemic Zeke as a runner by pretending Pollard never runs between the tackles?

Best of luck in finding an excuse for Anemic Zeke that isn’t complete horse****.

LOL you caught such a huge L the last time you tried defending Anemic Zeke that you’ve now resorted to just making **** up.

Name names, or else you’re full of crap.

“Many of those same people”....

Which posters have 1) complained about Zeke in Week 18 AND 2) whined about others missing time due to legitimate injuries?

Let me guess your response:

“I’m done talking about this with you!!!”

Agreed but you have to have the horses up front. They don't open any lanes it's gonna be Dak throwing 40 times per game.

No..."fans' won't. Now you are just being argumentative.

The people here asking for a "commitment to a run"..are not asking to run 4 times on the goal. Or first three series. They are asking for a BALANCED attack. It could be we don;t have the right personnel....but we surely have a terrible game plan, a terrible scheme, we sub Tony when Zeke raises his hand( That one drives my nuts! You can't even manage RB sub plays? They make Zeke do it? STUPID!). We run a couple generic plays up the clogged middle then act like the whole run game isn't working.

Don't "over commit" . Have a serious versatile rungame scheme for two dynamic RB's that also adapts during the game. Why do you object to that?

“Hyperbolic”? No, Ron was being intentionally dishonest.

Just like you were being dishonest when you shamelessly tried to pretend Pollard never runs between the tackles.

Nice try, Ms. Elliott. I’m sorry that Pollard’s our best runner.

LOL at blaming an injury when Anemic Zeke was healthy enough for 18 carries in a meaningless Week 18 game.

I am not a Zeke supporter in fact I dont like him but on Sunday I have to be fair to him. Not all of the run game problems are on him. The center and LG positions were routinly ineffective at run blocking and our TE sucked at blocking. a penalty here or there and you are also looking at a passing scenario. Thinking you can just run zeke 2 times into a line not getting push is not going to control the ball much so Moore is going to have to get creative.

And if it isnt working which it wasnt against many teams in the secondhalf of season tampa being one of them you got to take a different approach. I just laugh when i hear tampa didnt abandon the run lol. of course they didnt we dont stop the run that well so why abandon it. Zeke had 33 yards vs Tampa shut him down as they did many last year.

The passing game did enough to win that game. Thank greg the leg for that loss. Zeke got hurt against the Vikes that much is true but the teams he ran the ball on so well prior to that game were not exactly a juggernaught at stopping the run.

those bringing up emmitt smith era as an example of what they need to do with zeke (committ to run)and not also including the difference between those lines and this line are not giving you the whole picture. This line has not run blocked that well since Leary left and Tfred was healthy.

Pollard does not need to be an every down back for sure but he needs more carries 60/40 split. The problem is it dont matter which back is behind dak if the line cant get a push. and you cant keep handing it off and think your defense is going to keep stopping folks. Its going to require dak running and or airing it out.

If this line is not improved over last year than there is reason to be concerned but i wont start worrying till games count because at this point there is no one available that will improve this line unless youre willing to give up draft capital and trade for one.

You have two good RBs and 60% of a line that needs power and discipline.

Now who is lying? YOU. I NEVER said "between tackles". I said "up the middle". The closest Tony gets to "the middle" is behind the tackle. Do you want to refute that?

The great majority is outside of the tackle. Let's look at some evidence, shall we?

You can count on one had the times Tony runs up the middle. Even a designed run "between tackles".....Tony skirts to the outside most often.

You act like I hate Tony. I love him. He is a dynamic playmaker. We need him AND zeke.

You think your Zeke hate makes you look so cool...so in the the know. A better fan. I don't usually remember M.O.'s I have neither the skill nor the inclination. But you, I'll remember. I know you already have the "glad I was wrong" speech ready, just in case. An insincere one.
