Drew Lock pretty much played the entire game.

Geno Smith starter the game.

But their OL, Tyler Lockett etc all played. I believe Metcalf played the first series but I could be wrong on that one

Would have been nice if Joseph had not gotten hurt to see him against those receivers. He did have decent coverage on the play he got concussed.

I have him over Gifford. Just a hunch with no reasoning behind it

Gifford has played well and is also a core special-teamer, but Harper is a draft pick, so it's definitely a possibility.

Ranking of the rookie draft class preseason performance. Clark not included.

Smith
Ferguson
Bland
Williams
Harper
Ridgeway
Tolbert
Waletzko
Oh come on...if Smith wasn't a top pick...I'd seriously cut him. He isn't a guard...and honestly I think the league has let a bunch of holding plays slide....but maybe not in the regular season. We will see what happens...but he needs to slide back outside.

I think Davis needed a great game to beat out Dowdle and didn't have it. He had moments, but he needed to blow it up.

Houston's a PS player to me. I don't think he's a threat to be claimed.

Agree that Hendershot should be kept along with Bell. I'd still be tempted on Brandon Smith despite his last couple of plays, but I don't see who'd he'd beat out. Maybe if they'd actually played Noah Brown, we could see if he deserved the praise he was getting in practice.

I know it's a different position. But if I'm the Cowboys, I take a player like Brandon Smith over Ridgeway. He's still looking pretty lackluster out there.

Good thing I'm not the Cowboys or I'd kick a lot of people's favorite pet cat to the curb.

Watching back the first quarter that I missed. The way some on here were talking about Williams, it's hard to believe he got a sack going against their starting offense.

Also, Ball wasn't bad the first drive. Tried to focus on him. He's got to keep his body over his feet on those spin moves, though, so he can recover. Seattle also didn't test him with inside moves, which is what he has struggled to handle well.

1.They are loaded at safety.
2.Hendershot, Bell and Malik Davis made the team.
3. They are in pretty good position to make a trade or 2 to get a player or a draft pick.

I think Ridgeway is PS for now. Last year, we had the "luxury" of keeping Bohanna even though he deserved to go on the PS. I think Bohanna's play this year, though, is what sends Ridgeway there.

Might have had something to do with Dak playing well at QB when given the opportunity. Tyler has had no snaps at LT and they were saying he might not even start at LG over McGovern.

Someone's momma always said, "Stupid is as stupid does." Can't remember who, but she must have been talking about the Jones family.
