LOL, of course this is the obvious question.

I mean it really does look poor for both Jerry and Stephen after all they did at OT up until now to then suddenly sign someone two weeks from the start of the season to be their LT.

That being said, I suspect Smith starts with Peters as insurance in case he really struggles and/or Smith or Steele get hurt. I mean with Smith slated to start at LT, they have Josh Ball and an injured Waletzko as the backups. That's not good.
Everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE, knows the Jones’ boys and WM and the entire FO FUBAR’d this O-line roster. They stood Pat when there were decent players to be had because they didn’t want to look like idiots. Well guess what.

A few years ago the Ford car salesman down the street switched over to Chevy. I've heard he secretly reported directly to Henry Ford III as a spy...

The Ford dealership had fired him but he was such a big fan of Ford that he worked as a spy for them at no charge. They could not pay him because that would implicate him legally which would mean that Ford was breaking the law. Ford would face severe penalties if caught but that tiny shred of info the car salesman might provide was worth the chance of billions in fines.

It never occurred to Ford to put a spy in Chevy's front office where there were no explicitly defined laws against it and where the spy could obtain info with actual value like new model designs, ect..
Oh, integrity has always been an issue with adults...lol.

On this one, Stephen can't get cute or back door negotiations and leave the offensive line to proceed any thing less than top redeveloping. Non-negotiable on this, Jerry. Take a fan knowledgeable stance on this one, Mr.'music' man...

Again more clickbait. Jerry Jones brought up the physical this morning on the Fan. Why does this unemployed dude get so much attention?

Because he's better than most anyone we have on the roster currently, certainly at LT

im assuming peters won’t be able to play Until at least week 2 what if smith plays really well?

Then just make Peters the swing Tackle I guess...old dude needs a few weeks to get into playing shape I would imagine: no training camp and such. People say: "he's a grizzled vet...doesn't need camp" but I kinda disagree. Needs to get into football shape. PUP list maybe? Dust him off the shelf and oil him up to play asap

Turpin is 3 feet tall but fast. Not a WR for the NFL. Tolbert had probably the worst camp out of everyone. Brown has been here 7 years and done nothing with his opportunities, Houston is an UDFA, do you want me to keep going? This is the incredible roster building you are talking about?

Did you see what the rams did when they lost Woods for the year? They brough in OBJ. Did you see this year when Woods went to Tennessee what they did? They brought in Allen Robinson. Remind me again. How many SB appearances do the Rams have in the last 10 years compared to the Cowboys?

Do you see a common denominator here?
Not saying the WR’s are great but Tolbert did not have the worse camp at all. That’s just blatantly false I have not seen one insider say that and all of the TC live’s I saw he showed up.

He wasn’t a star but he definitely showed up every day of camp and was productive.

Fish, we've been patient. Where is the OT to be signed for depth that you said we should trust Jerry to get?

Yeah. Based around Micah.

Who the FO tried to trade away from. LOL. If the Giants took Parsons. How smart would Jerry look right now?

This is what I mean. You are giving them credit. They deserve blame to. And that list is much longer.

you’re making up scenarios of things that could have happened but didn’t, in order to make a point and bash. That’s pretty pathetic tbh

JJ's silence means it's a no go on Peters. Once again he's clueless when it comes to the FA market, I guess he thinks he can take all the excess cap money with him................Ha-Haaaaaaa!

you sound ridiculous

Do peters start if signed? And if yes, why would they wait until now?
1) Probably

2) Dont know. Maybe they wanted to see what happened on the market during roster trimming.

At this point in his career, Peters can fall out of bed and play football. He had a solid season, however the concern with a player his age is he can become ineffective at any time. That could fall into #2 as well, as maybe they wanted to look at better options first

The Giants were taking a WR period. They were trading out to collect picks if they couldnt move up for Smith. They weren't ever taking Parsons
