All this does is send a message to our young Tyler Smith that they have no faith in him... a no-confidence vote. The Cowboys are usually pretty good at messaging. Not this time. It has nothing to do with insurance or being prepared with a backup. Even Dak Prescott has a backup, it's just that Cooper Rush isn't a 9-time pro-bowler. It's a mistake!

Rush is also not 40 years old, on the backside of his career, and hasn't made a pro-bowl appearance in 6 years (Peter's last probowl was 2016). It Tyler can't handle that, how can he handle not only the game itself, but the press and fans when he is struggling?

To me this says that Tyler has practiced at Guard all pre-season, and if its possible to let me get acclimated there, then do so. Also says more to me on their thoughts about McGovern starting at guard (remember how he looked last season). Peters and Smith > Smith and McGovern.

This feels very Harold Carmichael ish.

I remember seeing his one and only reception in a Cowboy uniform. It was weird.

I guess my point went right over your head. Peters is overkill. You already have Tyler struggling without playing a snap at LT. Throwing jabs at Tyler seems pretty natural for you.

Hated Tarkington, LOVED Foreman, their defense was pretty bad *** too.
Carl Eller, Alan Page, Jim Marshall, Larson, Sutherland, that was a good group.

I had to watch them play since my brother is a Vikings fan, at the time I hated it, but now I cherish the memories.

Does anyone remember that Jim Marshall is running the wrong way TD? LOL

His starting TE for a few years, Bob Tucker, was college roommates with my uncle at good old Bloomsburg State College. Tucker played with Tarkington both in New York and Minnesota. Was his leading receiver one year with 59 catches and almost 800 yards (with the Giants).

Fisher says, "just happened, moments ago" . . . sounds like he's X2 speed on audio, because he's trying to catch up to the news cycle. lol

exactly! Well said. The dude is across the hallway from him at the star and can't even break a story on time. He is always a day late and a dollar short. In fact, he said TUESDAY not Monday. He actually said that. In fact, he made it a point in his live to correct other media and fans that entertained the idea that this would get done officially on Monday. HE WAS WRONG AGAIN. He has terrible sources. His words were " No its not" "Thats false." "because Monday is a league holiday." He said it in his typical arrogant smug Fisher tone. He has egg on his face this morning. and "buy my merch!"
