Amazon pulling reviews of Rings of Power due to neg bombing by viewers on RT. Rings of Power are at 85% with critics and 39% with viewers, so something is definitely off there.

Been a big success so far, 25 million watched.

I'm still on the fence. The action, scenery, and effects are very good, but so far, the story hasn't drawn me in. The upcoming episodes look intense though, so hopefully it's just a slow start.

The advances in cgi from the 3 LOTR movies and the hobbit is pretty astounding. It is starting to look real.

I am hoping the advances in the avatar are on the same scale

She Hulk. I really wanted to like it. I get that it’s supposed to be campy and I do like Tatiana Maslany but this show is just bad!

I don't find it "bad" so far. There are things about it that I dislike, and I don't think most of the comedy is very good, but the show is growing on me.

I agree. It’s not the greatest series Marvel has done, but it’s not the worst either. ‘Watchable entertainment’ until the next big series comes along.

As a Star Wars fan, I can’t wait for Andor.

Some of you may or may not know that Baccarin married her Gotham co-star Ben McKenzie (James Gordon) in 2017.
My son was huge fan of that show. For reasons I can't say, he was allowed to spend the day on set watching them film. Got to meet a lot of the actors (, the guy who played Penguin and Gordon's sidekick (Donal Loque) showed us around all day. To put it nicely....Baccarin was/is a huge horse's ***. Everyone else was great to my son...she's horrible.

Just finished season 2 of For All Mankind. Enjoyable but goes a little far on the social agenda sometimes.

However.......

What the heck is that between Danny (Gordon's son) and Karen. That is so awkward and Danny is a pretty creepy looking guy

watched Season 3 first episode and see they brought his creepy self back and have made him a hero

I watched the first episode since the whole show is so well rated. I'll be honest I haven't even thought to watch episode 2. Nothing about Ep 1 captured me.

I like SheHulk for what it is. 25 mins procedural show that is light hearted and easy to watch. Gimme ALL that MCU content I don't care.

Rings of Power, visually, is nothing short of stunning. I argue that from a production design, cinematography and CGI perspective, it's better than any of the original 6. LOTR was ambitious but it's showing 20 years of aging, and there was some choices even at the time that were off (like Peter Jackson playing with different film in his edits).

Seriously - Rings of Power even took some of the LOTR designs and made them better (the Orcs in the forest and the one in episode 2 are really really cool).

The writing though hasn't engaged me yet. 2 episodes in and only 8 for the season, I'd have expected more intrigure for me 1/4 into the season. I get they want an A, B and C plotline to lean into the success of GoT and rich history of source material, but something needs to happen.

I was the exact same way. I watched the first episode over a year ago...didn't think much of it. Forced myself to continue here about a month ago. One episode a night after kids go to bed.

It gets better and you grow more attached to the characters, as they continue through various time jumps.

I agree. And I find its’ differences refreshing rather than disappointing or upsetting. I give Marvel credit for changing things up and going in different directions. It seems like a ‘you can’t please everyone’ situation. People complained that Marvel was too repetitive and formulaic. Then they try something new like this show and others complain.

As someone who just kinda likes Star Wars, I'm also very much looking forward to it. It looks really good in the trailers I've seen.
