Dak didn't play well. However, I don't think it's entirely or even mostly the fault of Dak. Jerry have him next to nothing to work with. So,.this was the consequence of that. If he doesn't want Romo's injuries, he needs to go to a team who cares.
Stop with this blame game. Dak was awful period. The pass game was awful.... I was listening to Voch as I watched and the excuses that it was the loss of Amari and the incumbent WR Corp gradually diminished as the game proceeded.
I agree it's not all Dak, however, what is the point in having a WR1 that's best asset is after catch yards and Dak is throwing (AS SO OFTEN HE DOES) behind him. If he hadn't gone off injured, Dak should have walked off in shame for that one (I'll call it 'throw' advisedly) to Noah.
The biggest problem is that Jerry won't accept (which is fair considering his age) he'll continue to tinker by adding pieces in a vain attempt to show we are relevant.
Lets be honest its time to come to terms that the recent scores against the Least has masked that this Offense isnt playoff grade... its time to break it down and rebuild based on the Defense.

I really hate to say this. I really do. However, Jerry deserves this, and, if Dak wants to salvage his career, I think he needs to go to a team whose owner actually cares about winning. He's not got weapons here. His contract, compared to other QBs really isn't all that bad, and there are teams who'd likely snap him up quickly. If he doesn't want to end up like Romo, he needs to really consider waiving his trade clause and going to a team like Seattle, who need a QB and would probably give us a king's ransom to get Dak. I'm NOT blaming Dak for yesterday. The loss is on Jerry, and, unfortunately, Jerry doesn't care. So, Dak should go to a team who does care and can build a roster.
Jerry is in it for the money and the ego of being the owner of the Cowboys. Terrible off season! Jerry loves the glamorous players and is saving his money to pay Lamb and Diggs. Dak did not play well and I know the OL is bad but Dak tossed a int into triple coverage. Poor decision! Dak missed a wide open Brown which killed a drive after the Wilson int of Brady and earlier over threw Lamb along the side line who had inside position on the defender. You can’t keep making those mistakes. The only way Dak leaves this team, is for him to redo his contract (which I can’t see happening) to lower the cap hit. The best case scenario, is for us to see how the season unfolds and find a QB in the draft to replace Cooper and Dak when his contract is up.

The Eagles would probably trade a fifth-rounder for him, to back up Hurts.

:muttley: Thanks for the morning laughs!!!!
First and foremost no team wants Dak and his overrated garbage stats and if any team was interested trust me they would offer very low picks for Mr. Goodwill and kindness!
Did you watch yesterday's game?
Did you watch our playoff game vs the Niners game?
Did you happen to watch our loss last season to the Chiefs?

Well, that was a small example of what happens when Dak faces a real team and how a panic-riddled state of mind shows his ineptness all over the gridiron.
Unfortunately, Dakko will be with us till June 1st, 2024 but there is no guarantees he will be the starting QB.

I think it's over for Dak..he lost it sometime mid last season. When he gets back if it's the same ( it will be) with Gallup and Washington he's done.

Unfortunately, you might well be right. Either way, he needs to request a trade, and we need to get a new QB, as well as fixing other issues.

He has not been the same since the ankle injury. His constant holding of the ball coupled with throwing late and behind guys is too much for an offense that is already short handed to overcome.

We can still draft a QB in round one, and let that QB develop. That's probably what we will have to do, along with getting some more WRs. Either way, the time has come to focus on the future. This season is finished. It's time to look to the future now.

He doesn't look like a starting NFL QB right now, Cooper Rush came in and it was an immediate upgrade

OL was awful
WR were awful
OC was awful
run defense was awful
coaching was awful

you don't go scoring 3 point with blame going to one person. there was a lot of people involved in this mess

He didn't exactly play great either though, Rush. We simply don't have the weapons this year, and we all knew that going into the season. This was always going to be a tank season.
