If Wentz has a hair on his blank, he will play his best game of his career this week vs the Eagles.

Should be interesting.

What is more likely to happen is what has plagued Wentz for awhile. He tries to do too much and it often results in just dump plays - holds the ball too long, runs around like a chicken without a head trying to make a big play, etc.

I really miss the days when we could simply enjoy football, a game at a time.

Now, all we do is cry over potential disaster and loss in the future. Never happy, never living in the moment, resigned to the prospect of how miserable we COULD be.

Why would you say that?
Basically, the Eagles are saying, "Yeah, we're in the Cowboys' brains.":banghead:

The Jerry stans have to be torn now.

They believe what Jerry says is the gospel, but are currently whining about the Eagles not being any good.

They believe Dak can still improve 7 years in, but Hurts does not have the ability to improve 3 years in.

:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:
the "Branch Jerridians." After 26 years, THEY STILL buy his snake oil as Gospel truth..

Hurts is better than Dak at this point. If Jerry isn’t humbled by that, nothing will do it.
Hurts isnt better. He is a 1 read guy in the perfect system for him..that is, until the league adjusts to it, then forces him to be something he isn't. Just wait til the 2nd half of the year, and lets see how he does then.I will take Dak ANY DAY over him. Dak just needs to stay healthy now.

Oh please, anybody that isn't a complete homer for everything the Cowboys do is an "Eagles fan" to you and your buds

It is not that. It is those that constant rag on anything and everything. Or they post about the same thing over and over.
They can't discuss anything else, or say anything positive. They turn those into negatives or make a negative comment.

Even the so called homers will be critical if need be. The haters can NEVER be positive.

No they don't buy into it, they just don't hate on everything, nor blame everything on Jerry.
Jerry yes made many of poor decisions over the years, as we all know.
But he is not out there trying to execute the plays and game plan. He is not the one jumping offsides. Hitting the QB late.

but he is responsible for the players we bring in. He IS to blame. When its been 26 years, yes, it falls squarely on him. Fair or not.

Dak had great games like Hurts did last night. And he did look much improved, for last night so far.
Then back to Earth later on with mediocre games for Dak, so it will be for Hurts also.

I mean Dak can't do it against a good defense vs. preying on weak defenses, garbage stats and all of that.
But Hurts did that last night and he is SB MVP now.
You know the typical double standards on here.

I will give it some more games and against good defenses.

Like Landry told a young Parcells you "usually" know what you have in a player by year 3. (of course there can be exceptions)
As someone else mentioned this is year 3 for Hurts and year 7 for SleepNumber.

I'll be like you and follow Landry's advice to cast any judgment before the end of this year is up as there "may" be room for more growth in Hurts's game.

I judge him with that same standard.

It's just in this case Dak peaked as a rookie.

Big difference.

For a guy that harps on double standards you seem to judge your OC on a different level than your HC and now this.

Pot calling kettle.
